Was visiting from Massachusetts. Was told this is the place for excellent breakfast . Got there today. Ordered the eggs Benedict and side of corned beef hash. Best hash eaten. Wife ate Denver omelet. Good Strong coffee. Oh so good. Christopher our waiter was so kind, gracious and attentive. Agree this is a must visit when in grapevine.
Stopped by on our way to the Grapevine Vintage Train Station. No complaints. Food was fresh and hot. Service was efficient. The place does get busy during the weekend and we didn’t feel rushed. The hash was my highlight.
We came on a Sunday morning and even though the restaurant was full, the wait was less than 10 minutes. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast options and reasonable prices.
It was good but a little pricey.Be warned, the pancakes are HUGE but very fluffy. The crepes were very good. My husband veggie breakfast skillet was delicious.Oh the coffee is fresh ground and delicious
Came here around lunchtime with a coworker. We both ordered breakfast. Our server, Ana, was great. Very nice and helpful. She gave some recommendations on the menu for us, and did not disappoint. As you can see in the pics, the portions are generous. The food was prepared well and the wait was not long. Also, not pictured here is the glass of orange juice which was also quite generous compared to other places you may go to.
This was my first time here and honestly I did not wanna come but my husband did because he saw a picture of the chicken fried steak online and he didn’t even eat it all. I did not like that they brought my biscuits out with gravy already on them I guess it was too high that the biscuits were burned and the hashbrown tasted like old grease. The people were nice and the restaurant is really nice inside and by looking at the outside it was once a Braums. The coffee was extremely bitter the one good things that they had flavored cream. I don’t recommend this restaurant I guess because I’m too picky but it’s just not all that it’s cracked up to be. We did not ask for a refund on my food I just went ahead and paid for it but never coming back again!
Went today for Lunch, food was good, service was nice but was not happy at all about the noise. Seems that there was a family, which I have grandkids and they can be a handful, but these parents had no courtesy to keeps the kids from screaming super loud. Did not make our lunch hour pleasant at all. We were not able to have a conversation above the constant screaming. Parents should be aware of others trying to have a nice meal. Thanks
This place has such potential! Too bad the service is so poor. Perhaps this is due to bad management. I tried to eat breakfast at Lone Star today and walked out because I didn't want to wait indefinitely to be seated. Only half the tables were being used. Those who were seated were looking around for their server. I only saw one server on the floor and she wasn't in a hurry to do anything. It looked like there was only one server in the whole restaurant. I was told to wait ten minutes, but I soon realized after waiting 15 minutes that I was not going to be seated anytime soon. There was at least one party in front of me and they were losing patience because they were also told to wait ten minutes, and that was a long time ago. In the past, I have found that the food is good, when you can get it. Their service and customer relations will be their downfall, if they don't make the necessary changes.
We have been going there since they’ve opened. Has always been great. Today, no one upfront when we arrived. Another couple had been waiting and left since they arrived. They did after a bit attempt to seat us. We mentioned the people ahead of us left. He said that’s ok. We said you don’t need our business? He said that’s ok. We left and won’t go back!
Excellent breakfast and service, got there at 10:30 and was torn between breakfast and lunch. Decided to go the breakfast route and glad I did, I had the chorizo skillet and it was excellent, wife had the avocado toast, she enjoyed hers as well.
