Small and fun environment, our waitress Maddie was phenomenal! The food has been good every time I've come! Their burgers are big so you definitely get what you pay for with them! 10/10 recommend whether you're going for a weekday lunch or dinner with the family. They only have one or two possible big top tables though so don't bring the whole crew unless you want to wait for a table.
We are from Dallas and have always eaten at either the Lake Highlands or Uptown location for well over 2 decades. This location was absolutely nothing like the ones in Dallas. I normally order the #12 and they are charging nearly $4 extra for the exact same burger here!! The kids burger was the same size as the adults, but the kids meal comes WITH a side... for $6! Our food came out late, food was cold and oddly enough the two tater tots we ordered (one kids side and one adult side) were cooked at different temps... one over cooked, one under cooked. Manager was extremely rude and gave us the excuse that they only had one cook this evening; she was very curt with us after we explained the quality of our food was not up to par. While we can be understanding of delays, I don't feel they understand the value of customer service or properly communicating with their patrons. I left hungry. We will not be coming to this location while visiting Grapevine.

So.. food was cold , they didn’t give us our appetizers until we got our actual food.. our waitress was very racist and HER NAME IS SWARATTIE. We ordered 4 kids burgers and they changed 2 of them to JAKES BURGERS WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION!! Also on our check the waitress wrote and I quote “I DONT NEED A TIP” ummmm I don’t think your supposed to write that on a customer’s receipt.. YALL BETTER do something about her
It was very busy before the championship game especially being located just across the street from Toyota Stadium. Short help like so many businesses, long wait, food was OK.
I waited for a little while to be seated even though the place was empty. Service was fast. But our burgers came without cheese even though we ordered them with and one came with mayo even though we ordered it without. Meh.
Stick with a burger. Some of us had salads, but we were all underwhelmed. Bland, plain , just meh! Our son had a burger which he thoroughly enjoyed. With 25 different burgers on the menu we should have picked up on the cue, but we didn’t and suffered the disappointment. Service wasn’t bad , but not great either.

Ate here with Co-workers during a happy hour thing. Great location near main street. When we went the area was filled with lights and Christmas decorations.The food was your typical bar/restaurant menu. I got the chicken wings and they were tasty. Sweet tea was good and sweet. Everyone enjoyed the place and not a bad time.
The food was lovely. The hamburger (mushroom swiss) was huge and wonderfully tasty. The tater tots were perfect. Jake's has a perfect atmosphere for music, sports, beer, and a good time. My only negative was how long it took for my server to check on me. He checked once, when I had already been waiting to pay and go. I am a little needier than that, especially when I need a napkin for an exceptionally juicy burger.
