Both the indoor and outdoor pools were clean and spacious. My son enjoyed all the water slides. There were plenty of lifeguards on duty and actively monitoring. We got burgers that were actually pretty good. The room was nice and clean. They already had extra pillows and blankets ready for us. Then after swimming all day they have an arcade and some wizard adventure for the kids to enjoy as well. You are going to spend some money, but it was a blast for my son so I'm ok with it. We will be visiting again.
Great Wolf Lodge is a great place to take your kids. The staff is really accommodating and always willing to go above and beyond. The park itself needs more attractions there is very little reason go there 2 days in a row. Our experience we great, but there were several other guests who have no control over themselves and the staff is really young for the most part, so there is very little enforcement of the rules there. Just prepare for that and you will have a great time!
Exceptional Resort for a family! We had an amazing experience. The kids love the cabin in the room, the Magi Quest, and most of all the water park. We had fun in the morning at the arcade before the water park opened - Deal or No Deal game is sooo fun! I loved that there is an adult only hot tub. The tornado was very thrilling, especially after dark. We will definitely be back again!
Hotel room was so cute with a mini cabin inside for the kids to sleep in. The water park was lots of fun with many different areas to play in. The arcade was open all night. The wand experience is fun and let's you explore all levels of the hotel. It was good family fun. I took a star off for the cost. It was very expensive. We decided to do 2 of the paid activities to save money but it was so expensive the package deal for all activities would probably have been a better deal. The restaurant in the hotel is $25 per person and $10 per kid, but is an all you can eat buffet with Prime rib and other expensive foods making it worth the cost. They also have a pizza place on site that can deliver to your room. If planning on going here start planning way in advance since rooms book up quickly and also look for groupings and discounts to try and alleviate some of the costs.
My family stayed at the Great Wolf the last week of March and we had such a great time!! Our suite was nice and clean other then the coffee maker not functioning properly. I couldn’t go on the slides due to my health but the rest of my family enjoyed them. There were hardly any wait lines and they bumped their booties on a few of them!! My 10 year old cousin rode them all over and over again and he loved hanging out on the logs! The check in had a line but moved quickly and the staff were more then helpful! We will definitely return again!
There is not enough time to go through all of the amazing things about this place. I will say that we did ourselves a disservice by only booking a 3 day stay. My ONLY complaint is the prices. You're paying movie theater prices. Still 5 stars though, because if you can afford it, it's worth every penny. They're providing top quality fun and service, so i guess you have to pay for it. To sum it up, we're already planning our next trip there. You've got to experience it at least once in your life, but don't make our mistake! Book it for more than 2-3 days!
We rented the grizzlies sweet and it was pretty cool there was two bedrooms three beds one pull out bed. I wish the fridge would’ve been bigger given our party size but there was two bathrooms which was nice. The master suite and the regular room in the grizzly room TVs and so did the living room. The second floor has a Starbucks and other cool places to eat. The water park was really cool the lazy river is really nice and the wave pool was pretty cool too but it could use more waves the one in Chicago definitely has better waves. I like the kids area because my six year old was still able to enjoy a lot of the kitty pool activities. There are multiple slides which the older kids can go in which is nice and there are two bars and one food station. The bathrooms were incredibly cold but that’s maybe because we were in the warm water. The water on the first day was cold but by the second day it was warm. Over all our state was enjoyable.
The check in process was long 45 minutes. When we went to the water park it was extremely cold, I thought the water was going to be warm, but it was not. Also it seem as if they had the air on. Everyone was complaining because its winter time and yall had the water cold. It was so cold in there you couldn't even enjoy the water park. I was told by one of the workers sorry its cold, but we do have a hot tub. When I went to the hot tub it was crowded. People was coughing and not covering their mouth "just nasty". To many people in one small area, so we got out and went to our room. In the room we took a shower and guess what our the water temp wouldn't get hot the shower water was freezing. I had chills while in the shower, that's how cold the water was. I didn't complain to the front desk, because I didn't see the point. After we took our shower we went down to the restaurant. The restaurant was buffet style so we didn't eat there. People was coughing and again not covering their mouth or wearing a mask, and in line getting food and touching things with their dirty hands. I literally seen a man coughing on the walls in the hallway. So, we ended up going across the street to a BBQ restaurant. They next morning we checked out of the hotel room. I checked my email, and they had the nerves to charge me 45 dollars for three pool towels that I made sure I turned back in because they charge 15 dollars per towel if you do NOT return them. I called, and they gave me back my money. So watch out for extra charges on your bank statements.
I had such a great experience here! I'm so happy my aunt and uncle took my family here for the holidays. My daughter had a blast. The food and drinks are awesome, pricey....but awesome. There's so much for children to do, would 100% go back. Also! I received fantastic customer service from a new bartender Olivia Wilson and just wanted to give her a shout out for the excellent experience.
