Underwhelming to say the least. At Marriott, we expect the best of the best.Somewhat decent stay. The neighbors were loud and obnoxious. The hotel itself has amazing service but the hotel is just subpar. It was clean-ish.Bathroom was tiny.Room was okay.Probably won’t stay again for the price.
Pretty nice Courtyard Marriott, plenty of space in the bar and lounge areas. The decor was nice and modern throughout the hotel. The room we stayed in was wonderful except for our view. We stayed here for my brother's wedding nearby, and when we awoke the next morning, we were greeted to the back of the building next door. Other than that, it was a decent hotel.
We were screwed by airline cancellation. We got vouchers which didn't apply. We got ahold of the courtyard. Denise at 9:30 at night got us picked up, a room and asked the restaurant to stay open a few extra minutes so we could get food. What resonated with me was on the phone was she said " let's get you here and taken care of" and did just that. We cannot thank her and Marriott enough.
We travel at least once a month, as we show cattle. The room was 180.00 with tax. Not bad, but a bit pricey for us. The hotel was very nice. No breakfast was provided. However, there was a restaurant where you could eat. I saw a small brown bag with chips and water at check in. I assumed these were for the gusts since we had received these at many hotels due to them not having much food due to COVID. However, when I asked about the little brown lunch sack, I was told it was only for the elite members. However, I could drink the $6.00 bottle of water offered in the room. Needless to say that was a bit rude in my opinion.
This hotel looked great when I walked in the lobby. Everything looked so nice and clean. We got our room on the 3rd floor and right when we walked to the hall everything looked dark because of the lighting. We walked in the room and there was no lights besides the lamp and the bedside lamps. The tv was basic cable channels and didn’t come with the correct remote. The sheets looked really old and had a weird yellow color to it. The bathroom was clean but outdated. The water from the shower instantly smelled like chlorine or pool water and made our scalps itch. Overall I did not like the condition of the room for the price we paid. The last hotel in Irving was less and way better with Smart tv and a kitchen. It was just booked. I was very disappointed with this one.
Nice place but stayed here last week when there was wintery weather, employees didn't seem to have supply to de-ice. I ended up falling outside, like many other, and ended up having a major injury. Asked for a first aid kit and none was available. Had to go to emergency room and ended up getting stitches. Worst experience I've had at a hotel.
I really enjoyed this hotel. Pretty fancy for any Courtyard that I have visited. Shuttle service. Staff was great. They treated us with tender loving care. Manager was superb and varying caring about his guest. I met the General manager because I wanted to know why this Courtyard was so different from others I had stay. He freely explained to me why. I appreciate how he took the time to do that with little old me.... thank you for great hospitality. You do have an superb team in your hands.
Was here for a week teaching various classes in the conference area. They took very good care of us. My only complaint was the sign for the courtyard lobby in front of the hotel clearly points to the left. Be aware the lobby is directly behind that sign.
Great stay. Super nice staff. Only bummer was we flew in late due to a delayed flight and the shuttle wasn't running. We had to take a $50 ride share from the airport. In the AM the shuttle driver Tony was great!
This is one of the best Couryard I have stayed. Very clean, no weird smell, efficient HVAC, and comfort beds. Starbuck quite convenient. However, they charged $75 pet fee - quite outrageously high!
