Superb service. The reviews do not do it justice. Our server Albert went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The atmosphere is lively and energetic. This was our favorite dining experience in a long time! The food was delicious, good sized portions, felt healthier than most Italian places. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.
What a great place to go for good Italian food whether it is just the two of you or with a group! We had a team dinner and all the dishes were good! The appetizers were very good too, we had the calamari, cheese sticks and mushrooms. You are able to bring your own liquor or wines so it was great that many of us brought something for everyone to try. The best part is the magic show by Nick, the owner!! It was amazing and fun to watch, there is no logic to how he did the tricks no matter how hard we try to look for clues. So glad to see they survived the pandemic and doing well. It is my first time but will definitely visit again when I’m in town. This is the place to go if you want good food and great my entertainment.
Went here for lunch and it was very good. I had the lunch special which included a drink and salad and it was only about $12. Very good deal for what they give you and it also includes bread. The sauce was also very tasty and prompt service.
Service is amazing, the food is the best Italian Ive ever had. If that wasn’t enough… one of the waiters is a MAGICIAN! And he is phenomenal. Come as soon as you can. You won’t be disappointed
Great food and wonderful atmosphere. The staff is really nice. We had the spaghetti and the chicken piccata. Afterwards one of the staff members showed us some cool magic tricks and gave us some free dessert. Very welcoming people overall. I definitely want to come back soon!
I love Cafe Italia, but my last two visits have not been the traditional awesome restaurant I fell in love with decades ago. Two of my favorite aspects are still in tact: BYOB and flavorful food. I am attracted to places where I can bring my own bottle of wine. For that reason alone, I will be back. The food truly is good. The cognac and vodka sauces are our go-to dishes, but we have enjoyed most everything on the menu. What I have not enjoyed recently is the rushed feeling and loss of intimate personal service. The salads come out in minutes after you order. The appetizers come maybe 2 minutes later. The meal was maybe 10 minutes after that. Within 45 minutes of walking in the door, we were walking out. Everything was fast, efficient and impersonal. Please slow down and get to know the guest again. Talk, interact and make the interaction as elegant as the food.
1st time at this lovely locale. Busy and inviting, waited approx 30 minutes but well worth it. tables are small comparatively, service was exceptional. I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo w/chicken sautéed in creamy alfredo sauce. Wow! they did not skimp on the sauce, rich and delicious. would consider myself a foodie, this was the best fettuccine alfredo I have ever had! Brother in -law had his favorite the Beef lasagna with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese Sister in-law SIL had her favorite Tortellini Vodka Sautéed in pink vodka sauce Busy environment, friendly and personable staff. Definitely at must if your local or traveling through.
My parents live a few miles away and we've been going to Cafe Italia literally for 30ish years! Sadly my father passed away in February and so we planned his celebration of life at his favorite restaurant! Nice and the team could not have treated us better - we had 40-45 people in the main dining room and it went off without a hitch! And extremely reasonably priced. While my Mom is moving further away, we will still make the drive for Dad's favorite chicken genovese!
This place is wonderful. The food is excellent, the service was suburb. We had a large group and everyone was very pleased. It doesn't get better than this. We may make this same trip next year and we will definitely be back to this restaurant. Best Italian food ever.
Had dinner on the patio at sunset when the weather was nice. Chose this spot on a whim and so glad we did. We chose the stuffed mushrooms based on other reviews and they were amazing! The sauce was so great we dipped our bread in it. Then I got the tortellini Michael Angelo and my husband got the tortellini vodka. Both were divine. We were the only ones seated outdoors but they were so nice to accommodate with an a tasting of crustinis due to a delay of being served. The wait staff's etiquette and follow up were very impressive. I live 30 minutes away but will most definitely be coming back.
