This place is misleading.They don't even serve beef ribs as advertised and their menu is very limited.The one posted on there page doesn't exist.They have like 5 meals and some animal shaped nuggets for the kids.I tried to call ahead to ask about their beef ribs but there was no phone number to call so we just showed up to try it.They need to fix this misleading page. I see no reason to come back for a $15 pulled brisket sandwhich. (They didn't even offer slices brisket).Oh well you live and learn.
Check out Aj’s what an amazing place. The pickle shot was absolutely amazing! The owner such a nice guy and the service was amazing. Cutest little place ever. Total home town feel the BBQ also was amazing!! You must go and check this place out. 5 stars all the way!!
Wanna say first the place seemed great and our server was so friendly! Props to all in food service right now. But Honestly, the food could use some sprucing up and I see it reflected in plenty of other reviews. Maybe have more sauces? And a little bit more to the salad. Just very plain and I wanted it to be more. I love supporting local and will continue to do so but this just didn't hit the mark for BBQ. Change my mind?

Our first experience definitely not our last. Currently dealing with the crunch of inability of getting products limiting the menu, AJ doesn’t disappoint. Beef brisket, pulled pork and ribs that fall off the bone, potato salad that melts in your mouth! Dinner tonight was spectacular. It was a slow night for them, we sat at the bar and had a drink while our meals were being prepared, AJ and staff were so friendly. Next time we are in we will eat in-house. Great place!
Had an amazing smoked beef rib, I would definitely recommend. If you love a small town ambience with friendly servers, you will love this place. Plus they can mix a great drink.
They offer five things on the menu and two of the items on the menu they didn't have (no ribs and no turkey legs) We ordered the overpriced catfish. This is our first time having FLAVORLESS catfish and tartar sauce. I asked for Tabasco...all they had was sweet baby rays hot sauce. That **** was nasty too. FIRST AND LAST TIME COMING HERE. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK**NO PANDEMIC .....this is life now.The other restaurants have products and you should too. P.s ESPN not fox news!!!!!!!!!!!
Almost $20 for a small basket of food. Way over-priced. The pulled pork was cooked nicely, but had no flavor. Had to dunk it in BBQ sauce, and the fries beat the BBQ by a longshot.
Had lunch here while touring downtown Grapevine. Right on the Mai. Corner across from the clock tower. Service was good - but food was excellent. Good stuff
Service was pretty slow. The portions are very small. I had to order another plate because it was much smaller than I was expecting. The second plate had a hair in it. *Yuck*On the up side, The fries were awesome.
