I stopped by here one morning to grab breakfast tacos. The brisket, egg, and cheese taco was everything!! I took them to my coworkers and we were all shook. They were too good! The staff was very pleasant as well. My GPS took me to a bbq spot next door that was closed down so keep that in mind when you go.

Zavalas Barbecue is one of the Best BBQ Joints in Texas and definitely one of my personal favorites. Got Rich's Smoked Brisket Burger, 2 Sloppy Juan Tacos, 2 Brisket Jalapeno Poppers and Banana Pudding. All Phenomenal!!???
I have been wanting to stop by for some time, I finally made the much anticipated trip. My firstly time my mentor & have been in here. I bought above 100 worth to go. The brisket was amazing, great flavor, moisture. The turkey was also excellent. The ribs were good not fall off the bone good but they were good. I enjoyed the potato salad & spicy Cole slaw. I did ask for recommendations on how to order or what's popular, the staff although super friendly wasn't much help on advising how to order other than by the pound. I was also lol forward to desserts, I didn't see any listed. I'll definitely be back on a weekend see if the menu is different
I had 0 expectations coming here and tbh I came here looking for dulce enchilados. I did not find the dulce but I did find prob the best BBQ in dfw area. This was 40mins from me and the drive was so worth it. First off, the staff is overwhelmingly nice and humble. I love that every employee interacts with their customers. Thank you, I don't think I could say thank you for today. To who ever the put master is/was today, thank you for being so kind. The jalapeño poppers were def worth it and they didn't make it back to the car (ha). The meats are so moist and well seasoned. I love that Zavala's pays homage to their city by honoring fallen PD and supporting local breweries. Their green sauce is def a little spicy but super good. The parking can be a little crowded during peak times but that should def say something about this place. We decided to eat our leftovers later this evening and the meats were still super tender. The brisket boudin is different but still really good. I was told to get the spicy Cole slaw and hominy (now that I know what it is haha) next time. Highly recommended if not for the food then def for the staff. ** Also, my pup says thank you.
The Sloppy Juan might be the best bbq sandwich I’ve ever had. Pork ribs are excellent. Zavala’s is definitely deserving of the spot on Texas Monthly’s top 50 in Texas.
Absolutely incredible BBQ. Melt-in-your mouth brisket. Great sides. Order ahead online to take away and skip the line.

Goodbye corporate coffee. This is my new coffee stop. Today I got a dirty chai tea latte and a potato breakfast taco (Homemade salsas). Fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. Best kept secret in GP! I'm coming back Thursday for BBQ... From the looks of it they know what they're doing ☺️
The food was amazing, some of the best bbq I have ever had. The owner and his team are so incredibly nice, courteous, and really make the experience enjoyable. They definitely have a new raving fan here!
