Originally from California so when I discovered here in the "Great State if TX" had Weinersnitzel or back in my days Der Weinersnitzel (I still refer to it as) I was too excited.I have to get my fix at least twice a month if not more. The owner is funny!!! ????
I haven’t had wienerschnitzel in 20 years and it is just as good or better than ever. I used to eat it 3-4 days a week when younger and this location holds up to my memories of loving it. Well done. I am a proud lifelong fan of weinerschnitzel and we must protect it so future generations can enjoy it. The service was efficient quick friendly and to the point, perfect. All food was fresh and hot. Chili is excellent. #3 all day.
To be honest it was mediocre, not to be bashing the place but the hot dogs were slightly better than the double cheeseburger. I ordered a junk yard dog, Chicago dog and the dbl ch.burger burger tasted microwaved semi-hard around the edges & lacked taste. I always like to give places another chance so I'll go back and update.
These chili dogs really have seen the inflation Spike... but man they're still delicious and a heinous way!
I did not know that there was a location here in the DFW area! The last time I was at a Wienerschnitzel was when I was in 9th grade in Amarillo. And they still make a great polish sandwich!
Don't know what happened to Wienerschnitzel, but it just isn't good anymore and definitely not worth the price. Save some time and money and go to Racetrack or Quiktrip for a better hot dog or corn dog.
Great hot dogs but by the time I get home my buns are soggy wet each time. Not sure what I need to do cuz I love this place
My family and I love coming here! We are originally from Cali. And the you can almost find a Wienerschnitzel anywhere, but not here in Texas. We take the 20 min drive every now and again to enjoy their chili Dogs and chili fries, the owner is always nice and we always get our food hot and fresh in a timely manner.
