My 1st time coming here and I will definitely be coming again. The young Man taking my order was very helpful and courteous. I ordered the White Russian and fell in love. From here on out it is my new favorite. If you're in the area and looking for a daiquiri shop, I definitely recommend this one.
I had the Fishy chicken. It was chicken cooked in the same oil as the fish therefore it had corn meal season on it and it smell pretty fishy.The cashier got the Cook and he asked what do you want me to do about it all of the oil is the same? and just so happen their system goes down and now I’m waiting for a manager to arrive for a refund. She arrives pays me cash turns her back and goes to work no apology no interest in the issue work as usual.The food was better when the paper was black and white squares. If it has the “Who Daq” just get a daiquiri and call it a night. EAT elsewhere and you have been warned.
This place never disappoints. Every time I’m in town I hit them up and it’s always a great decision. Great music, great food, great prices, great service. Just all around great. This place is a gem. Keep it up!
Always a must do when visiting Dallas! Love this daiquiri shop & the vibes. It's always a line but on a Friday they still made it move quickly. Chicken was a little dry but still good.
Now this is a 5 star establishment. Based off word of mouth alone, I was already excited to try this place. Great and friendly service. The drinks were flavorful and I sure did reminisce my time in NOLA.
I really wanted to like this place. Upon arrival you must get into a "zig zap" line to place your drink and food order. Upon doing so we found a seat and enjoyed our drinks until the buzzer that we were given would inform us that our food was ready. The place was pretty busy and we were aware that we would have to wait. No worries! About 45 minutes had passed and something just didn't seem right. I approached the counter to inquire about the status of our order and no one had any information. Turns out we we charged for our food but the order was never placed. The manager approached and I expressed to him my dissatisfaction. Before I could more than a sentence out his immediate response was, "calm down!" Excuse me?! Wow! Obviously, I was calm, but I was not going to let this go unnoticed. Apparently, we would be waiting if the order was processed again...that was a no. He then offered more alcoholic drinks for the inconvenience. However, we hadn't eaten, and in a world where we should all drink responsibly, we chose not too.I had heard really good things about this place and really wanted to give it a shot. Thankfully, Dallas offers a myriad of places like this one so the necessity to return is null and void.
I am only writing this review because I want the daiquiri shoppe to get back on it. I ordered the shrimp basket because I remembered when the shrimp was bomb. That picture below for 10.99 and refrigerated shrimp it wasn’t worth one bit. I am really upset they don’t include the salads anymore. Those salads were off the chain. That basket should’ve been 4.99. I know prices are going up but don’t substitute your quality just to have. You all’s quality & fellowship is what keeps people coming back. My daiquiri was good. Get them plates back to what they were or better.
Usually my experience here is a good one but yesterday, Friday, was a horrible experience and the way the situation was handled by the manager on duty deserved a rating of a 0. My main reason for coming here is the strong drinks, good food and to wind down from the day. I ordered my food at 9:10 pm... the place was packed... and the DJ tonight was on point. My order was 2 orders of 3 wings that come with fries and 2 daquirri drinks. I spent $41. I'm waiting and my food still hasn't came at one point I thought the device was broken. I checked on my food twice at 9:30... then 9:40pm. They continue to tell me that my food isn't ready and that there's a back order. I tell them ok and then continue to wait. I continue to see orders come and go. The part that touched me some kind of way is the three ladies in front of my friend and I were served, the guy behind us, and individuals that just came started receiving their food as well. People coming in and leaving... even a full party that sat down after us were all served. I then get up and order 2 more drinks because we ran out. My friend compared the food receipt (9:10pm) to the drink receipt (10:19pm). I sent my friend up and they let her know that our order was mistakenly given to someone else. They give her a choice a full refund with no food or we can wait a few minutes later to get some fresh food and 1 free drink. By this time we had already consumed one medium sized beverage (which we never do) so we need food at this point. She took the second option. We wait some more. At 10:45 I go back to the counter and ask for the manager. The server asked me at this point, "Are you still waiting? " The manager informs me about the conversation that she had with my friend and how she offered to give us a refund. I said, "But that option comes with no food and we have been drinking so we need some food and at this point we both are starving. " She then is trying to convince me that 20 minutes haven't passed already. I attempt to sit down again waiting. At this point the dj had packed up and there are only a few people left at in the place ?. People done partied... danced... ate and left and I'm still waiting. At 10:53pm I finally receive my food. I sit down so I can eat a fry...a piece of a wing... something before I get ? sick. Guys I can't make this up. The wings were fresh but the fries had to have been sitting in grease waiting with me for the chicken. My friend picked up a fry and put it in a napkin and pressed it lightly and it saturated the napkin. I went back up to the counter and at this point I just want the wings I brought the food back to her. This isn't right I waited for 2 hours calmly mind you watching people leave that came after me happy and I finally get my food and it was just slop. No one could eat those fries without getting sick. They were greasy, darkened brown, and old. The manager took the fries off the order... and gave the wings back with an attitude like I inconvenienced her for coming up there showing yet another mistake. No one should wait 2 hours for an order...a mistake you made but didn't own up to until an hour and a half later... after we checked 2 times already... to only be given my food with an attitude and grease sodden fries... and an attitude . Total I spent over $75 for 2 hour inconvenience and an attitude only to be told I gave her a free drink. No my food and drinks should've been free with all that happened but customer service isnt servicing anymore. No where were we treated like a priority... even after they found their mistake. You continued to make everyone else's order but mine. At the end of the day, I had to go to Raising Canes for some decent fries.

Cool place. The drink selection is good and the daiquiris are tasty. They had a live DJ the day I went and also sports on TV. Big place and not crowded.
