To keep this as short as possible, this place is AMAZING. I live pretty far from FireHouse, but it was worth the drive. I love that the space is massive & offers a variety of options depending on what you’re doing there. I met up with friends to study, so we sat in their café area, but we were also able to grab food from the restaurant side. Later, my boyfriend joined after work & he grabbed a drink at the bar. I love the versatility along with how serene the space was. We were studying during the lunch rush, but the café area was still calm & we were able to focus. I will definitely be coming back here!Oh yeah, the food & coffee are also so good! I HIGHLY recommend the nashville hot chicken fries. They’re the best thing I’ve eaten in a while.

I used Google on this one and pulled up not knowing I was walking into a dream. This place is very intentional and spiritual. I love it here after just one time. Everyone had a good vibe except the bartender but hey that's still 1 in 16. This is your weekly decompress spot frfr. They have a coffee lounge area. They have an outdoor playground basically. You can chill inside near this massive birds of paradise on the couch with some TV trays if you want. The list really goes on... The food is so good if this is your style ? The Fries has chopped chicken on top with a whole lotta more goodness. I got the Asian chicken as a salad and it was delightful. I also recommend everything ?. The food here is incredible. Been here twice in the span of a week. The prices are very affordable and the food & drinks are great. Highly recommended any of their fried chicken burgers! Pictured is the Nashville Chicken sandwich. It was so good I forgot to take a before picture.Also the staff and owners are amazing & friendly and host awesome events.I don't want to forget the great quality coffee at the cafe, and the outdoor area with more than enough space.
Super cool concept space. Combo of bar coffee, bar restaurant and music venue. Bar offered unique and impressive range of drink options. Pro tip if your a soda head check out the Stuborn fountain choices agave infused root beer and vanilla personal favs. Food casual counter service but high quality and nice variety. Don't miss the Dirty Bird fries.
I give three stars mainly because of the cool vibe and neat set up of the place, especially considering the historical significance of being in the original firehouse for GP. Some suggestions (and the reason for a relatively low rating) Is that the chicken tenders were a bit off... The breading was not bonded to the chicken at all to the point where the chicken kind of fell out of the breading (also chicken was a bit slimy). The fried crust on the fried pickles was WAY too thick, the fried pickles also lacked flavor. The indoor vegetation and seating arrangement is definitely unique and cool. The outdoor seating and stage is cool.
Visited Texas for the weekend and was looking for great food! I had the BLT with fried chicken and my friend had the smokehouse burger. Both were delicious. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. Cute place, nice atmosphere, loved the soda fountain. Great place to grab a drink, a bite, or a coffee. Cool decor. If I’m ever back in TX I will definitely come back.

This was our first time here, and we were genuinely surprised. Located in Grand Prairie's historic district, it was great to see an old firehouse converted into a nice restaurant. The setting is laid back, and there is plenty of room, including a large outdoor dining area. The prices are higher than a typical burger joint, but the food quality makes it worthwhile. Side dishes are extra, but if you order one with a meal, the drink is included for free. Their soda machine features a couple of Pepsi products and some local, more unusual flavors. They also feature a full bar. Wish we lived closer. :)
We have been here on more than a half dozen times and we always find it to be consistently good. The Dirty Bird Fries are HUGE and tasty. The outdoor area, without COVID-19 restrictions is fun as you can enjoy cornhole games, picnic tables and the smell of the smokehouse, like a backyard festival.
