To be seated immediately on a Sunday afternoon should have been the first sign but I've been a fan of Cheddar's for a while. I haven't had it since Covid so we decided to go eat for Sunday dinner. The food was not as tasty as it normally is and the portions were small. The only thing that I really liked was my drink. I had spinach and artichoke dip and it was not creamy at all. My children liked their food however, it was just chicken fingers and french fries and my husband liked his food however he's the type of person that can just have salt and pepper and it's delicious to him???. I'm Panamanian so I love seasoning and this was not it. I'm going to give Cheddar's a couple more months to get their act back together and then I'll be back.
If you order curbside, be prepared to wait 30+ minutes from your arrival time for them to fix your order. Doesn't matter if you call them to let them know you're still waiting on a single drink they forgot, they'll acknowledge you're waiting and then promptly hang up on you. All 6 cars in the curbside waiting area had issues with their orders, all waiting just as long before giving up and leaving, or heading inside to demand our missing items ourselves.I don't know if they're just not paying their employees enough to care, or if they're just hiring bottom of the barrel. Absolutely abysmal service.
The overall experience was okay, just okay. The restaurant was not full however there was a 20 minutes wait: which made me think thev restaurant did not have enough personnel. In any case, the waitress was friendly but service was slow. I guess related to the fact that there was not enough personnel. We order 3 dishes, top sirloin, baby back ribs and salmon. All 3 dishes canned with 2 dices. Food was tasty and portions were on the large size.
Dominique was our server today and she was absolutely amazing! She is very sweet and attentive. The food and drinks came out quickly and was delicious. We will definitely be back!
This location is easy to get to off of the highway. The parking lot is large and easy to get around. It is not big enough for trucks and trailers. You can not call in and get on a waiting list. Even with this we only had to wait a short time because the restaurant has many tables. There is a full bar and a separate bar room. The food was excellent, and the service was adequate. I would eat here again.
The food was GREAT! Customer service needs to be trained & a different method of cleaning for their utensils needs to be put in place expeditiously, the silverware was disgusting. And waiting on some to ask for another set was non-existent.
Cheddar's was short-handed which meant longer wait time. The restaurant was not clean. I asked the hostess if I could be seated at a table with chairs. She places us at a booth without any explanation. I see a couple of empty tables. She goes back and asks another hostess and they said they could not place us there. We left and decided to eat elsewhere. Not simply because I didn't get a table with chairs, but it was not clean and they were short-handed. We knew our dining experience wouldn't be worth paying for it.
The food was great! Customer service was good too, there was a long wait but it was worth it.
It took us an hour to have a table ready but it was worth it and we enjoyed it.
Slow and steady doesn't win the race this time. It was a slow luch hour and took the Waitress 20 minutes to take my order and a few minutes before a hour after to get my food out and it was cold and old. Piss poor food and service and over priced for what you get.
