Our first time to 817 and we where so impressed!! Staff was out standing. Both owners came to our table and talked to us and super friendly. I highly recommend, this place for dinner. We will be back for sure.
Food was amazing and the staff was awesome! Highly recommend!
Terrific service!! Very friendly & kind!! EXCELLENT FOOD!!
5 star cuisine , service and ambiance!!! Cold drinks and great tunes too! Easy to find. I'll be coming back to this place for sure!
This place changes its menu daily so check Facebook. Everything is so fresh, they don't have a freezer. The service is also to notch!
My wife and I found this place while staying in the Granbury cabins and I must say that we both were very surprised that such good food was being made in such a small place. The staff was super friendly and the Chef was really nice. The saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" is so fitting for this place - both food and people were a pleasant surprise. Also, the Blackberry cobbler with smoked whipped cream was DELICIOUS! The ONLY thing that could have made it better for me would have been vanilla ice cream on top. Other than that.....it was PERFECT!
Fist time visiting The 817, and it was a great experience. The food tasted amazing, was plated beautifully, and it was unique. Apparently they have a diff menu daily. Our server, Holly was very sweet and on point. Heck, the whole place greeted us as we first walked in. They had a few diff music artists singing and playing guitar. It was a little loud, but still awesome.
My clients have showed me this amazing place. Everyday is a different menu, but the great quality stays the same. Very lovely place with music and southern vibe. Very reasonable pricing.
We recently discovered this cool little place on a recent visit to Granbury. It has only been open since August of 2021 and the owner/chef Mark is a great guy, very friendly and chatty. We enjoyed getting to know him and truly hope this place is successful. The 817 has a small menu that changes daily based on what is fresh when he goes to market that morning. This day we had a perfectly cooked T-Bone steak with a mound of fries and fried calamari for an appetizer. Both very good, would definitely order again. The calamari was pretty close to perfect with the amount of breading, freshness and it was not rubbery at all. Anyone who has eaten calamari more than once has undoubtedly experienced that rubbery texture at one time or another. They serve wine and beer and live bands on the weekend. We visited on a stormy Monday evening, the close on Tuesday so not a lot of people out in the storm which gave us the opportunity to visit with Mark and learn about what motivated him to open the 817. All in all would definitely recommend this place and will go again in the near future.
An absolute gem. Thankful for Yelp today. I fell for the atmosphere and stayed for the incredible food. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Farm fresh menu changes daily. Great beer and wine list.
