Fun place. Very casual. On Lake Granbury and marina. Fish tacos were amazing. Made with cod or shrimp. Can order grilled or fried. Topped right, cabbage instead of lettuce. Wonderful sauce! Generous portions. Split the salad with cranberries and pecans. Was plenty of food. Has a cute bakery with cupcakes in many flavors. They have a shop as well, with some fun gifts, clothing, sandals, and flip flops.
Stopped by for my girls birthday. Best dang food I've had in a very long time. Quality food, perfect air-conditioning, and the kindest employees! Thank you so much for a great lunch!
Every item of food was PERFECT. Great experience. Friendly staff. Amazing deserts. Wish the restrooms were more air conditioned, but this is a great time with or without kids.
Loved eating outside near the water. The kids got to feed the fish and geese. The food was good. Definitely would go back the next time we are in the area.
We have just recently discovered Stumpys after living in Granbury for 2 years! Fun, relaxing, and good eating! First time there I had the fish tacos ? and my husband had the shrimp ? basket! So much delicious food. The 2nd time we shared the shrimp basket .....our 2 year old grand daughter loved watching the ducks! Looking forward to coming here on our boat!
This is now or favorite place! The location on the lake is perfect there's plenty of seating inside and outside on the lake. Food is great and so are the prices. The gift shop has great items and there's a cupcake shop inside too! Friendly staff. Can't wait to go back
I’m giving it 2 stars because half the food was great and the other half was AWFUL! My husbands Philly cheesesteak sandwich was delicious. The fish tacos were SOOOOO SOOOOO BAD. I took 2 small bites and couldn’t eat them anymore. I honestly thought the atmosphere was fun, it didn’t bother me to have to go get your own food, drinks, & chips like others have posted on here. The chips and salsa were great, the store upfront is cute, the sweet shop smelt great. We didn’t purchase anything from there so I can’t judge it’s taste. We fed the ducks, geese, & fish our left over French fries which they loved. I guess this restaurant is hit or miss based on what you order.

Boom!! Talk about some good fish fry.... Wow. Never miss a visit when in town. Great vibe, awesome staff and killer view of the lake. Plenty of outside seating for any size crew. The get your own chips and salsa rock.. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to fill that fish fry hunger.
First visit here and we enjoyed it. The patio is dog friendly and heated although we sat at the far back of patio which was open, uncovered and heated by Mother Nature. It is nice to sit out there and watch the ducks, geese and such float/fly by. You can also buy duck food from the gumball machine if you want to feed the critters. You order and pick up at the counter then if ya have a hankering for fixin's on your burger stop at the condiment/veggie station and load up. I had a 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, onion rings were nice and crisp and they weren't stingy with the nicely cooked bacon. Others at table had Tacos Furioso, unfortunately they were a bit stingy with the chicken on this one, more like a veggie taco, veggies were good but would like to see a bit more chicken. Another had the Buffalo Chicken tacos which were good but noticably short on the yard bird here again. We also had a Bloody Mary and Margarita. The Bloody Mary is very salty, basic and good and the margaritas was pretty basic but good as well Overall good food and drink. I do have one recommendation, dog friendly space is awesome but what if you had options available for your furry companion? Water bowls for instance, doggie menu with a basic chicken breast, hamburger or hot dog. I know we would always order from that! We will come back!
