El Chico is my fams forever home for Tex-mex here in Granbury. Consistently stealing my heart. Always treated like family. Food always bussin’! Especially that burrito bowl tho! Attached a pic.
Bar tender was amazing. We sat at the bar and this poor girl (I don't remember her name, but she mentioned she has another job in the mornings) was doing like 10 jobs. Taking orders, making drinks for those of us at the bar as well as the rest of the restaurant, answering the phone, dealing with the grub hub guy... Quite a bit for one girl to do with no help. The 5 stars is for her, not for the restaurant. Have your hostess answer the phone, they're literally not doing anything else.
The Best n most experanced waitress if the one called Cara. When.we go there we request her service because she can answer any question about the food. And make good suggestions. She so professional she should be working in top dollar restraunts o. Very friendly also with a wonderful smile. Always sees to it our order is correct T hats why she's the Best.
Tried El chicos today and was pleasantly surprised, the food was good but what made my experience Stand out was our server Brooke. She was extremely Attentive and made sure we felt at home. This is now my go to Mexican restaurant Base solely on the service I was given , that's how good she was! Thanks again Brooke for being the best server ever!
The service & food times have really gone downhill in the last 2 months. My husband & I use to be loyal customer every Sunday after church then we found out that our server that we love (the reason that we kept coming back) was fired. We went in tonight (not busy) the service & food was below par. We didn’t even get our corn tortillas for our fajitas. Very sad.
Our server, Brooke H. was awesome! She knew the menu and drink items and made great suggestions. Her customer service skills were stellar!! Our overall experience was made even better because of her. Food was great, too.
Let me tell ya, our server Brooke is AMAZING! Extraordinary customer service skills, speed, beautiful uplifted attitude and she knows her stuff. I would come back here every week jus to have her wait on us, the food great of course, she just was the cherry on top of a good meal.

We ate here yesterday after church and our food was EXCELLENT!! The place was busy but thanks to an awesome sever named Holly..we were never out of our drinks, chips, or salsa! We will definitely be back!
First time here tonight! Food & service was excellent! I asked for the biggest margarita with double shots! Lol so good! The Chimi Combo was so so good!! The chips & salsa was delicious. If the chips and salsa wasn’t good than that means the food isn’t good lol , but let me just say they tasted amazing! Holly was our server! Excellent, Excellent server! She deserves a pay raise! We will definitely be back! Thanks for great food, drinks, and the service tonight! After a long day this was exactly what we needed. ??
