Excellent food and Christian music. I ordered the chicken fried steak and potatoes and okra it was really good my good friend Tiffany ordered the fried catfish and broccoli with shrimp she loved it. Really relaxing place to get out of the summer heat and unwind and get full.
Food was good. Lunch special I got was a chicken fried steak and it looked bare with only one side, but it was crunchy and cooked well. the chairs were uncomfortably flat. Drinks refilled often.
We always enjoy the food ,everytime has been great until we got the family meal chicken tenders. Don't do it. 24 pieces smell like they've been smoked in a smoker.4 of us didn't even eat 1each. Spent 45+dollars and stuck with 20 tenders that are bland. But sides were good.
Ordered using their website. When I got home, I found the chicken fried steak was dry and extremely overcooked to the point i had to throw it in the trash. Also missing a side item.
Been here several times, please have patience they're short staffed. Quality & service is still good. Our last 2 waitresses have been topnotch, sorry I can't remember they're names. Our family always has a good time here.
My daughter and I had lunch on 04/28/2022 there. We hadn’t been to a Cotton Patch in years. The food was very good. I want to say though you have a fantastic staff member in Stephanie F. She was on top of service and very welcoming and gracious. She honestly was the best waitress we can ever recall having, anywhere.
Great food, DO NOT ORDER VIA DOORDASH, whatever reason the resturant will give you half the size of sides and 3 rolls for 2 dinners, food is not as good either like they dont care what there sending out the door. Thats how my chicken fried steak showed up. They made up for it but just beware.
It may have been the time we got there, but this location felt like a ghost town. To me that's not a problem in the slightest, but it just seemed odd for a Cotton Patch on a Sunday. I ordered the Shiner Fish and Chips (my usual at CP) the waitress asked me if that was some kind of special. I told her there's nothing special about it that I know of. She was not amused. She also seemed completely unaware that it existed on the menu. Then she asked me what side I wanted; ? It's fish and chips ? that's what it comes with. She then told me they don't have chips. I laughed and told her fries would be fine. I should have known better right then that the food was going to not be so good. Everything came out and I asked for Malt Vinagar for my fish, she brought me olive oil. I didn't want to explode her brain so I just ate the fish how it came with tarter sauce. Sadly the fish was overcooked and a little burned. ? Aside from all that everyone was prompt and polite. I'm sure if I had said something they would have tried to fix it, I just wasn't feeling that picky. I'm guessing the menu item I picked isn't popular at this location so it wasn't that great. I'll probably give them another shot if I'm in the area but will order steak fingers or something a little more common.
Excellent service and three out of four of us had the blackened tilapia which was awesome and it has honestly been the best restaurant experience we've had in over a year. I know covid has made things difficult in the restaurant industry and it has shown in most of our experiences but not this one!
Donna is the absolute best server! She made our dining experience even better by taking care of us like we were family! Never had to ask for anything because she was on top of it!
