The Good. The food was above average and had the taste and "feel" of home cooking by a non-chain restaurant. The menu is diverse and has plenty of options to choose from including breakfast. The Bad.The restaurant closes on Sundays at 2 pm and do not make the mistake of stepping in side any later than 1:30pm. We were rushed to order as our Wait person hovered over us to get our order in. I looked around and noticed this was the attitude of the entire staff at Cari's 377.Verdict.Came over an hour before the place closes for Good home cooked quality breakfast and more. Otherwise you be forced to eat in guilt.

They have great food, and the service was wonderful the owner was very friendly. Wish we had a Cari's in Abilene. Saw a lot of different plates of food I would like to try

Glad we found this place. Awesome food. Best ever friend pies. Tried strawberry and apple. A must stop.

It was good, fresh and hot!! Wanted to try the homemade fried pies but they were sold out ☹️

My family and I stopped here for breakfast on Mother’s Day, on our way home to Waco from a family gathering in Granbury. Service and food was EXCELLENT!!! Reasonably priced and cooked to perfection, not to mention the friendly staff. Also took some of their scrumptious homemade fried pies to-go. We will be back!!

Been eating breakfast here for a couple of years, it was always good with a great selection and good atmosphere. Unfortunately, the last couple of visits have not been too great . The boss man seems to be irritated and gives an uneasy atmosphere, food from the kitchen was not on par with the past. An over medium egg came out over easy and all the pancakes were tough and chewy. They were busy and will continue to visit unless things don't improve.

I was at an Airbnb in Glen Rose and wanted a good traditional breakfast before hitting the road back home. This place did not disappoint and was worth the 30-minute detour. Was everything perfect- no, but whatever wasn’t was corrected with a smile. It was extremely busy with a line out the door. I see why- worth the drive and wait.Coffee was hot and good- eggs and hash browns were good- and the pumpkin pancakes with pecan syrup was excellent. Mimi was attentive and very nice. I’ll absolutely return when I come back in the spring.

1st time here won't be the last. Definitely try the Little Granbury breakfast! Service is amazing, old style diner atmosphere, reminds me of the diners we'd got to when we were kids.Simple, no frills food.

I am hesitant to give any restaurant a bad review due to employee shortages and supply problems. I was going to actually rate them a 2 today but changed it to a 3. I have been here numerous times and today was not up to par. The food was just warm but had a good flavor. I wanted extra napkins but never got them. I wanted a drink refill but could never get my waitresses attention. I waited for my check but finally gave up and went to the register. I hope this is not a trend for Cari's.Follow up: I received a reply from the owner. He apologized and promised to work with his staff to improve. Took my wife back a week later and improvements had definitely been made. Server was very attentive. Food was very good. Nice to see owner takes comments to heart.

100% the best spot in town for breakfast! My fav is the pumpkin combo! They also have great lunch meals and service is also friendly. Although not the sot if you are in a hurry, but if you've got time to sit and enjoy yourselves this is it!
