This unassuming strip mall in Georgetown has the best little sushi/bento place! The photos below are of the Dragon Ball Appetizer, Tiger Eye Roll and the Sea! Our rolls were fresh, delicious and beautiful. The service was prompt and attentive but not that “overly attentive” that some places seem to have.
Great place to eat off of I-35 in Georgetown. I really enjoyed this place. I started by ordering sn egg roll. Nothing extraordinary about it, it seems commercially made. Next I went with the chicken fried rice. When they brought out the plate the chicken looked boiled. This is one that don’t let your eyes judge for you. The fried rice was actually very good and did not need anything else. The star of the show was the Sakura roll. It had tempura shrimp, mango avocado spicy tuna and I think some other fishes. It was covered with like a savory sauce and some jalapeño slices. It was delicious, I enjoyed every bite of this roll. The taste was something like not too sweet but savory and not spicy for my taste. I added a little soy sauce and chili oil and every bite was perfect. The tempura was crunchy from the first bite to the last. I really enjoy this place. The outside typical strip mall facade and the inside is not decorated. I am glad they focused on their culinary skills rather than their decorating skills. Service was ok nothing to write home about.
My sister and her hub brought me and it was a distinctively charming and delicious experience. The food is skillfully and thoughtfully crafted in a beautiful presentation. I will certainly be eating here again!
The grilled eel was very good. However, it was sliced very thin. There were maybe six thin slices and too much rice. My friend got vegetables with beef and had to go on a hunting expedition to find any vegetables other than broccoli. There was quite a bit of beef which was very bland. We aren't from here and we have no plans to return. The pictures online were beautiful. Since the .end has no photos I have no way to know if the sushi would look like what I saw online.
The food is good, however the service was not the best! We ordered online and found quite a few mistakes with our order after we arrived home. I called to let them know there were some issues (3 to be exact) with our order and I was met with excuses on why it was that way. Not a single apology or even an attempt to make it right!
Our first time at this lovely little sushi restaurant was an wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent. We ordered 4 different sushi rolls, and we delighted by the presentation and flavors of each. My favorite is The Avacado Lady, but also enjoyed the Crunchy Crunchy and Moonlight Salmon. We have finally found a local sushi restaurant that makes fantastic sushi and plan to make this a regular spot to visit for date night.
Came here because it was close to a concert we were attending nearby. Ordered a shrimp tempura roll which came out quickly and was tasty.I also ordered the General Tso’s tofu as my entree and it was likely the best tofu dish I’ve ever had. The cubes were crisp on the outside and CREAMY on the inside, and the sauce was delicious with just the right amount of heat.We also ordered chicken Lo Mein which was also terrific!Great food, great service- will Definitely be coming back!
I just found out about this place and wish I knew about it sooner.I got the shrimp tempura bento box. The shrimp and vegetables were all good, as was the sushi, salad, and Miso soup. Thai tea was good too. I didn't know you couldn't get it in a can! This is definitely a Japanese restaurant that I would recommend.
Went for the first time with a friend. Clean and friendly staff. The sushi was great. Prices were very reasonable as well. This would be a good choice for Sushi if you're looking.
sushi is good and yummy would come here again 10/10
