we had lunch, I like mcalisters but they have recently hired a young man that doesn't really seem to like his job. He brought our food to our table sat the plates down and I noticed I didn't get a knife & fork and asked him when he had a chance could I please have a knife and fork. he gave a big sigh and stomped off came back a few minutes later with the knife and fork and slamed them on my plate, tuned, he did not wear gloves nor were they wrapped in a napkin. He was holding them backwards where the handles were not in his hand. Then he turned and walked away. I then went to the front and asked for a fork and knife. the young lady put then in a napkin with gloved hands and handed them to me. I mentioned to her that she might want to show the young man the proper way to handle a customers knife and fork when bringing them to the customers table. other than that I love this place.
On 11/29/2021, I went to McAlister’s to get my usual Reuben sandwich. You usually have the best Reuben in the area. My “Reuben” yesterday was a sandwich with a small amount of corned beef. Nothing else. No sauerkraut. No Swiss cheese. No Russian dressing. How can you call that a Reuben? If I were eating at the restaurant, I would have returned it. Instead I had taken it home and discovered what I had gotten. At least the New Yorker was good. Not great but good. I realize that Covid must have hit your restaurant financially, but at least make a decent sandwich.
I ordered a sandwich through the app for 7p. When it was done i was ready at 10am. I called for 2 hours and no answered . The threethey voted me the next day. Even though I never kicked out up. And the app has no place you cancel an order. Won't be going here any time
McAlister's always has great, fresh food. Their employees are kind. Stephen especially stood out as a very hardworking employee who goes above and beyond. Thank yall as always for delicious food
I absolutely love McAlister’s but I wouldn’t recommend going to this location. I wanted to order a spud and they told me that they ran out. Well three customers after me had gotten spuds. Don’t sit there and tell me you don’t have spuds and then turn around and give a spud to three customers after me.
We love McAlister's however showed up this evening. Friday 645 pmPlaced my order just to be told I was to take it To GoWe were traveling after long day of work , dogs in car. Not in the mood to take it to go
Only option was To-go orders...but the staff politely informed customers as they entered the restaurant
I would like to start by saying, this is a great place to get a sandwich. I like it here and have been a semi regular for the last couple years. The food is always good and the staff is always more than friendly. However today October the 6th at 3:30pm, there is a girl working here I’ve never seen before. I assume she’s new and doesn’t understand how things work (she probably needs some training) when the weather is nice I eat outside. She watched me eat because she apparently knew I was almost done. When I was down to the last few bites, she comes outside and asks me to please “bus my own table” and bring my plate back inside for her. Maybe she was confused and thought I was an employee?? Who knows. Either way, it was enough to ruin my experience on this occasion and it is what prompted the bad review.I don’t know her name or I’d leave it here in the review. She was the same person who brought my food out to in the first place. I asked her for tobasco sauce, which she rudely and begrudgingly brought to me. It was obvious that she was frustrated and in a bad mood. She’s the only rude employee I’ve ever encountered at this establishment before. Here’s an idea, she probably doesn’t like her job. And, she earned you a bad review from a repeat customer who normally enjoys eating here. Perhaps she’s not cut out for this type of work and needs to be let go of? Just an idea anyways
Friendly staff. I always like mcalister's But the management seams to be falling down on the job at this location. Can't eat inside because of staffing issues, even though there are 4 employees? They are out of Turkey? Out of cups? I get that the last year has been hard on business but going with out is not the way to save your business. Every other restaurant is able to continue with their supply's.
It was panic there, that's what it felt like. They warned it would be 20-30 minutes. It was all of that! My chicken salad sandwich had very little inside the crossaint. Very disappointed. Left hungry after 30 minutes of waiting.
