Not nearly as nice as it used to be. Needs spruced up. Hard to believe a steakhouse only offered 4 red wines, only 1 being a cab. Caesar dressing tasted like cheap bottled. Sweet & doubtful there was anchovy in it. My steak was ordered medium & was cooked correctly. It was kind of tough though. My baked potato was good.Service was just ok.
Decided on a steak for dinner and have it at home. Alex took my order and made sure everything was perfect before I left. Got home to a GREAT steak, and wonderful salad and the best bread. THANKS Alex.
Great strawberry, chicken, pecan salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Had a side of fried okra that was good. My husband enjoyed chicken tenders, mac 'n cheese and a green salad. Our drinks were also good (martini and a beer) and reasonably priced. LongHorn Steakhouse is a great place to go for a Porterhouse or other steak, but they cook lots of other great food, too. Give 'em a try, you'll be glad you did! Our dinner was excellent.
I feel like Longhorn is such a staple with me and my Husband as it's the one steakhouse that we go to and can always count on to never disappoint. This location was no exception, awesome drinks, great service, and even better food! We will definitely be back! ❤
I give this restaurant five stars because (1) the food is very tasty, (2) the portions are large, (3) the prices are very reasonable considering today's price of beef, and the wait staff are very attentive and friendly. My wife's 9 oz. filet was perfectly cooked to medium and she was very pleased. My ribeye steak was perfectly prepared for my preferred medium-well. The baked potato was stuffed with sour cream, bacon and cheese and very tasty. The dinner salad that comes with the entree was super large and well prepared with plenty of veggies and salad dressing. I have zero complaints for this restaurant and I am very picky.
My sirloin was cooked perfectly, and dripped with juices each time I picked it up with my fork. Despite how busy they were it was neither crowded or loud, and we were seated in less than twenty minutes. Great decor and a calm atmosphere. My only complaint might be that the light directly above my table flickered occasionally, but thats the worst I could think of!
Our waiter was really friendly. The food was good. However, I had no clue about the call ahead process, so it appeared to me that there was no wait when I arrived. I became annoyed after sitting for over 30 minutes and watching an empty dining room fill up while I waited. I am just saying that I wish the host staff would've explained this to me when I questioned them about the wait and was obviously upset about it. Usually, in service, you express empathy when a customer is bothered instead of acting annoyed by it. Also, a guest standing next to me was offended when the host jokingly told me to relax while I was putting my name in. I was glad she said something to me about it so I could know that it was him with the problem and not me.
Service and price were excellent. The steak was done exactly like I like mine.. medium rare. While there really was nothing wrong with the steak, I would have preferred it to be finished over a wood fire for that extra flavor. This was more like a New York steakhouse steak very good but just missed the Texas mark. FYI, it was the Outlaw Ribeye and was tender and juicy.
The food as always is good but the servers need to pay more attention to the details of their orders. Side salad missing from to go order. Thankfully I called and spoke with the manager taken care of. More training needed, possibly would help.
We visit Longhorn quite frequently with our friends and would highly recommend the Chicken Fried Chicken. It is consistently perfect. My only suggestion would be to put your butter out ahead of time so it can soften. I worked in the restaurant business for years and this is just a pet peeve of mine. Theres nothing worse that cold hard butter.. Just a suggestion.
