Excellent tasting brisket with a perfect smoke ring!! Just the right amount of BBQ sauce on the sandwich too. The collard greens were nicely seasoned and delicious. I want to try the fried cabbage next time! Another customer suggested trying the banana pudding and it was very satisfying. Staff was very friendly; prices were good. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks!
Delicious flavorful brisket, and the best collard greens I've ever had! (It has smoked turkey, not pork; made it taste so much better) Love the food; will keep coming back.
Stopped by this restaurant based on how amazing it smelled. Their service was excellent. I ordered 2lbs of sausage and it is amazing!
Looking for the best BBQ in Georgetown? Keep on trucking mama. First we went in and sat in a booth. The only other customer was waiting for a takeout order. After a long time a guy came out of the back with the takeout order and noticed us waiting. He took our order. We wanted #3 under the Family pack. He explained that it was only a single serving and not a family sized one. The brisket, chicken and ribs were so dry it took a lot of BBQ sauce to make them palatable. My dining companion said that Rudy’s pulled pork was better. The sides seemed sour and not tasty. The yam was the best thing on the plate. In a state where BBQ is king, Sweeties is a pawn. They should take Franklins Master Class. Even the iced tea was tasteless.
Craving for BBQ, when my daughter-in-law picked me up from the airport ( visiting from Alabama). Stopped at Sweeties after a quick Google search. I chose the chicken sandwich + she the brisket platter. Their coleslaw is the BOMB! Bought a pint to take home. My daughter made Slawdogs for dinner an AL favorite: Sausage/Brats with little bit of BBQ sauce on top then topped with coleslaw. Hope to go back on my trip back to the airport.
I had no idea that this gem of a place was in the area! I had a Groupon for the place and decided to check it out and placed an order to go. The food and service were both excellent. The meats and sides were fantastic but their specialty cornbread with bits of collard greens mixed in the batter was a special treat. I'll be returning for more!
The last time I ordered from Hello Sweetie BBQ was in 2019, and what I ordered back then was ok. But today,,,,,let me tell you.....first off, the customer service was good it wasn't the best but it was decent. I ordered a pulled pig sandwich with slaw on top, peach cobbler and soda. The sandwich was warm but the meat had a lot of pieces that were super hard. The cobbler had more dough in it than peaches. Im assuming the service worker took my portion of the cobbler from the end of the pan it was cooked in which is how i ended up with all that dough. I was sorta disappointed, but not upset. Brisket was delicious, moist and tasty! Only concern was price but worth it! Recommend the brisket and will repeat the takeout again
We got the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, and hot dog for lunch today at the Red Poppy Festival and it was great! Very yummy!
