Food was super tasty... Service left quite a bit to be desired,. Waitress was not super attentive, didn't come back to get drink refills, and didn't check on the quality of the food, till we were almost done with our meal... Was basically half way through my fish and chips before we were brought any malt vinegar, and she never came by before that point to even ask for it.Definitely don't feel like the restaurant was busy enough for the low level of service we received.Good food, but likely won't be back. Too many good places to eat at, to chance a bad service repeat! Plus, for a $100 meal, for a party of three, good service should be included.
My friend and I both had the Crab Stuffed Flounder and it was very good. My friend is a regular and that is his favorite selection. It came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. The veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned exceptionally well. Service was very good even through we came just before closing time. There was plenty of free parking.
Service was very good. Food came out quickly. Gumbo was hot. Catfish and fries were tasty. Husband had salmon, quinoa, kale, broccoli salad. It was delicious!
We first dined at the Fish City Grill in Rogers, AR and we had issues with the food as well as the service, so I was unsure what to expect from this location. I am happy to say that we had good service and great fish and chips. The fish was perfectly fried on the outside with a flaky inside and it was perfect with the house tartar sauce and malt vinegar. The fries were also good and from the taste of them, they are not cooked in the same oil as the fish, thank goodness. Although I do not live close to Georgetown, I will definitely stop by from time to time when I am in the area.
It's nice to finally be getting out again after coronavirus, and one of the first restaurants that we visited was Fish City Grill in Georgetown. It was just as wonderful as we remembered. The Fish & Chips are probably the best anywhere. I was less enamored with my Flounder, but I already know what I'm ordering the next time we visit. The star of the show was the Bread Pudding, which was probably the best I've ever had in my life. Always save room for that. Isaiah was a great waiter, professional, responsive, funny, busy but always had time to answer my questions. We sat inside, but could view the patio, which looked inviting as well. It was early on a Monday (our anniversary), but a nice crowd was already there.
Wow!! So good! Started with fried pickles. My husband had the snapper, he asked for it fried instead of blackened. (Pic 1) I had the arctic char, first time. (Pic 2) I can not express how good it was!! Everything was hot and seasoned perfectly! It was my birthday meal, so we finished off with the Eruption cake. (Pic 3) Holy cow! We will definitely be back!!
1-22-22Came from out of town to do some shopping and saw this place. Glad me and my mom decided to stop in. It was DELICIOUS. We had the calamari appetizer, shrimp tacos, fish and chips and side salad. It was all so good, fresh and hot. Looking forward to stopping by again one day soon. Our waiter was also very friendly and attentive, great customer service ????

My wife and I had dinner here after a long day and it was the perfect way to treat ourselves! We started off with a crab cake appetizer which was delicious. We had the Sea Bass and Red Fish plates which were Soo good we shared we each other's plates. I made sure to leave room for desert and settled on the Carrot cake instead of their bread pudding with Rum sauce that i usually have. I was not disappointed. It was the perfect end to a perfect meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, ♥️ This place!!! ??
Last 3 visits here have been extremely disappointing. Poor service, obviously lower quality fish, shrimp, scallops, and other ingredients. We usually visit 2 or 3 times a month but now are unlikely to return. Place has really gone down hill from the excellent experiences we used to have. A shame.Old: This is a 4 star with the trimmings. Good food, good prices, and lots of "on the black board" specials featuring their fresh catch offerings of the day. The jalapeno soup and oyster nachos are house specialties worth trying.
