My wife and I have visited this particular First Watch several times. The food and service have always been quite good. There have been times when they were short staffed in the kitchen but it's like that everywhere these days...Regardless, the wait staff has been very good. We like the healthier menu choices if we're in the mood. Nothing we've tried has disappointed. First Watch is a cut above the usual chain breakfast spots that we no longer patronize due to the quality of the service and food. This is a tough business to be in when you have to deal with the post pandemic lack of interest employees have in coming to work and performing even minimally. Our Georgetown First Watch has done much better than the rest.
Simply delicious. A bit busy since it's Sunday morning but we got a seat at the bar. Avocado toast was a generous helping and really really good. Probably the best I've had. The chili chorizo omelet was delicious with amazing flavor. We couldn't finish it all! Will be getting a doggy bag:)
Twice for lunch in two days: we liked it so much the first time we had to come again the next day to try something else. The power rap with egg whites was good but the pancakes were super fluffy and delicious we got them again the next day . The egg Benedict where my husband‘s favorite.
Mmmmmm?? maybe one day we'll be able to try everything on their menu, but for now we're stuck on sunrise sandwich, breakfast tacos and sharing brioche French toast!
First Watch never disappoints!I had the best Cobb Salad ever! So fresh and so delicious! Recommended! Got there around 11:30 was able to get a table easily without waiting.Outdoor patio is nice if you work remote and need a quieter place, cause it gets quite loud inside. I was able to have my meeting and enjoy good weather. Wi-fi connection was very good.
Came here for a Sunday brunch while visiting friends in Georgetown. It was peak time around 10am, so was quoted a 60 min wait. That was expected on a Sunday morning and you're able to wait in your car until they text you, so the wait wasn't bad. Once seated, the service was very prompt and friendly. Server immediately came to take the drink orders and answer any questions on the menu. Be sure to ask about the seasonal specials that are on signs throughout the restaurant, but not on the main menu. Ordered the Morning Meditation drink and the Pineapple Express drink while we looked over the menu.We ordered a Frittata Rustica, Floridian French Toast, and Eggs Benedict. We also ordered a side of the pancakes and they were much bigger than expected. One was plenty to share as an appetizer. Even though they were extremely busy, all the food came out together within 15 minutes. All the orders were well-plated and looked great. Food was very good with my favorite being the Floridian French Toast, but I enjoyed them all. I will definitely come back to try some of their other items. Service was friendly and prompt; food was equally as good.
The Chikichanga! Delicious. It's my go to every time. Spicy seasoned chicken, chorizo, green chilies, cheddar, monterey jack, onions, and avacado folded in fluffy eggs, wrapped in tortilla. Topped with a wonderful Vera Cruz sauce and sour cream.
I would normally say yes, but my order this morning was awful... I ordered a to-go meal via the website as asap and it said it would be ready at 9:00a. I showed up a couple of minutes before 9 and my order wasn't ready. That's fine, it took 40 mins to make eggs and a waffle, but ok, I waited until 9:05a in the waiting area... I ordered the trifecta; scrambled eggs with cheese, waffle and bacon. I also ordered a side of breakfast potatoes. I was soooo looking forward to a good breakfast! When I got my order to work, I was disappointed to find that my eggs were not done, I had no bacon in my order and I had double the pototoes for some reason. I do like the potatoes, but did not need a double portion and was very much missing the protein in my breakfast - no bacon or edible eggs. So disappointed this morning...

I had the tea with lavender and it was delicious. Vickie had the Eggs Benedict. The egg was overcooked and had to be redone. The second try the egg was perfect. The potatoes were not cooked and were hard. She couldn't eat them. I had Eggs over easy with the potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. That was good. My Eggs were so done they looked like a big scramble and had to be redone. The second batch was correct. My potatoes were not cooked and I couldn't eat them. However, the staff was friendly. The manager took care of the meal. We appreciated the apologies and the meal being comped, minus our drinks and the delicious bacon. The bacon was cooked with brown sugar and had maple syrup drizzled on it. No complaints about it. The manager did say the chef was off for the week. Would I try this place again? Yes.
