We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. We had their classic margaritas, chips and salsa & beef, chicken & shrimp fajitas. Every thing was very delicious. The meats were all cooked to perfection. Our server was Christian R. He was very knowledgeable, attentive and such a polite young man.
Fabulous atmosphere! Crowded with limited parking. Go early! The Mexican Martinis are great! The appetizers are large. We usually get 2 appetizers & margaritas & we leave very satisfied.
We love this place! Food super delicious and customer service excellent… for sure we want to come back soon to try different plates! We need to come back to get the view…
I decided to come to Texas to visit two very dear friends of mine and they suggested this restaurant they're regulars at to have a good Mexican meal. To our dismay we had an awful experience dining here and had to cut it short. Before sitting to eat we had asked the hostess ahead of time if it was okay to sit on the patio with 2 service dogs. She said it was okay and sat us outside. A few minutes later a server came up to clarify and ask that the dogs were indeed service animals otherwise we'd have to leave and we confirmed they were. Then lastly we were approached by the general manager who came up to our table in the worst behavior out of everyone. She immediately spoke to us in a very rude manner and harshly said we have to leave immediately because of our dogs - after we had already ordered 3 drinks and just gotten our appetizers. We were very taken aback at her demeanor when she came up to us because there was no apology for the miscommunication, or spending $58 on food and drinks just to be kicked out, and wasting our time dining there for 30 minutes already and now needing to go drive somewhere else to have a proper meal. We had tried communicating with her how disruptive this was to our plans after multiple members of her staff had expressed the dogs were okay being there, but she wouldn't allow us a chance to speak and just talked over us stating that it didn't matter what any of the employees say and it is up to her.We still had our full drinks and asked if at least we could finish those first and wait for our food to be boxed to go, but she refused and said we had to exit the premises immediately with our dogs there. Keep in mind, I never go out of my way to leave negative reviews but this encounter was such an awful experience that I wanted future customers to be aware of the treatment from the management here, because I personally wouldn't want to support a company that doesn't care for their guests like we experienced.P.S.As we exited the restaurant we came across this sign up front of the entry door stating that no pets were allowed but service animals trained to aid disabled persons are ok? If service dogs are not allowed this sign should have been removed because it is very misleading.
The atmosphere was nice. The staff was friendly. Waiter might have been over friendly and a little touchy. When we were seated he said he would would bring out chips salsa, quest and guacamole. The way he said it made you assume it was just a given but no it’s 12.50 each I believe. When we ordered he asked what kind of beans and mentioned rice. We assumed that it came with the meals but no it was $2 extra for each. Study the menu and know before you go was the lesson learned. Food was good though.
You can't beat the view from their outdoor seating area. Just gorgeous. The food, service and affordable prices were also a plus. If you like coffee, try their French pressed one: very good.
Menu very limited, bar type...party of 4...food was nothing special, so, so...very poor dining experience, not again...the interior is VERY loud, hard to talk...the margaritas were ok, but priced at $7 for house, no real taste, others priced at $12-14, rip-off...I buy a good bottle for $24, you figure!!! Please, don't waste your money or time, instead go to their Monument Cafe, now that's excellent!!!
I love the whole restaurant ambiance, LONG wait at night on weekends. It's nice to have the convince of ordering appetizers and drinks while you wait for your table. For 2 top shelf drinks chips, salsa and queso was $50. Yikes ? The fajitas were okay but we really like their burgers. Should have gone for the burger.
We have waited a long time to visit this restaurant. We finally went for dinner. We ordered carnitas & the enchilada special. The carnitas were nothing but spicy shedded meat, & the enchiladas were too spicy to eat. In spite of having been told these dishes were not spicy! The margarita was extremely expensive & it was served in very small glass for that price, the flavor was ok BUT the portion did not justify the price. When we asked about chips & salsa which is customarily served free in most mexican restaurants, we found we had to pay extra for it if we wanted this. Bottom line - the food is not that good, the menu is limited & it is far too pricy for what they have to offer. The server was the only bright spot. He was excellent.
The food was good, as was the service. I ordered a couple of cocktails and they were well made. My only knock would be the price of drinks from the bar. All of the cocktails were over $13. I would eat here again.
