The owner was on vacation and left only one waitress to service the entire restaurant which was extremely busy. While the young lady did all that she could (seating guests, taking orders, delivering food, bussing tables and running the cash register) it took us more than 45 minutes to get our food.Totally unprofessional for this young lady as the only one to service an entire restaurant.
Service was on point. The food was hot and prepared quickly. Arrived before close and they were happy to serve. It’s got a cafe feel with a wide range of Mexican food choices! Check it out, especially when El Monumento is packed!
We have been eating here for more than 30 years. We love to get the chicken enchiladas suizas. The breakfast tacos are awesome and one of my favorites is carne guisada. We have never been disappointed with any of the menu items.
A little hole in the wall family owned gem! The reason why this place is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Georgetown (and I've tried them all) is because their salsa is freshly homemade and they add those little extras to the dishes that others charge extra for like pico de gallo and avocado. Their portion sizes are generous. The service is always friendly and personable.
This little Tex-Mex restaurant in Georgetown doesn’t look like much but the food is great! The portions are large and the price is very affordable. Your food is piping hot and delicious. In operation since 1995 and deserves more patronage.
Dos Salsas was full so we ended up here. So many regrets. You walk in and it smells like bathroom ? We overlooked it and got a table. We were pressed for time and needed to sit n eat somewhere. The chips and salsa came to the table. Salsa had no spice. It was as if it was too spicy and they added sugar to calm the heat. No bueno. ? I took my son to the actual bathroom and it smelled terrible ?? our food came and what do you know, store bought tortillas, nachos that my other kid wouldn't touch. It was a disaster. I paid too much for it and I'll never go back or send anyone there.
Food is great, great like driving almost an hour just to eat there. Relax ambience, staff is friendly and nice. I don't think you can find better Mexican food in central Texas.
Ordered some takeout. 3 enchilada Plate. I got them cheese because usually it’s hard to get them wrong. Well I guess they figured it out. Don’t actually cook the enchiladas. The cheese in the middle was shredded cheese that was not melted. The refried beans were basically liquid and the rice definitely was not made today. I was hoping for some great food because of the reviews but I will most likely never visit this place again.
They have the best Mexican food in Georgetown. It’s Georgetown best kept secret. Thanks for providing us with awesome Mexican food.
This restaurant looks like a hole in the wall but the breakfast tacos are delicious! Anytime I'm in town, I have to come for these tacos, a sprite and of course the little salsa containers!
