This restaurant experience starts before you even get there. What a great drive from Georgetown. Pulling into this place, I knew we were in for a treat. Sometimes you can just sense these things. Dang was I right. The moment we walked in, I could almost taste the Navy beans listed on the board as the side of the day and I could almost feel a sense of comfort start to roll right over me as we took our seats. Service was on point. The place was slammed with families, old friends, and a large cycle club however our server never missed a beat. I had a fried chicken salad and a side of said beans. Delicious and fresh. Loved it. The hubby had one of the best cheeseburgers he's had in our long quest of great burgers. On my next visit my mom and I were able to attest to that. Onion rings are just as they should be. Texas toothpicks (fried jalapeño strips) are great dipped in their Ranch. Highly recommend this place.
Fun stop a bit of I35 but great country food and beer.
Always a fun time and great food!
Great place out in the country to get a burger, bbq or drink a beer. Haven't ever been here to hear music but I'm sure it's a fun time based on the size and layout of the outdoor garden area.
Had a great time shooting a wedding there. amazing helpful staff. Much more than I expected when they described a dive bar to me. Beautiful place for a wedding honestly.
Food was excellent but service was very slow and the restaurant was not crowded But most definitely will go back
We've lived in the area for years, and always said we needed to go to Dale's... Well, today was the day! They were very busy when we arrived at 12:30p and were worried about the wait. We found the only open table and were waited on my a very nice, friendly and efficient lady. All three servers were in constant motion. Despite the busy room, our food came promptly. We were both in the mood for a burger, and boy oh boy what burgers they were. My wife had the four alarm burger, I had the black jack. We left saying to each other we need to go back soon for another burger, or fried chicken Monday or chicken and dumpling Wednesday, or.... You get the idea. Worth the drive.
Stopped in because the burgers were recommended to us. They did not disappoint. Great small town feel. Relaxed and delicious. Some of the best onion rings. If you are looking for an excuse to get out, take the trip.
My wife and I attended an anniversary event at Dale's. BBQ will all the extras was served along with several different choices of drink. The food was great with all the meat tender and sides with that complementing taste. The location is just fantastic, small town feel and charm. Area outside has lighting in trees and plenty of room for multiple picnic tables so people can spread out. A large indoor event area is where we spent most of the evening which has a nice decor and again plenty of room for people to spread out while eating. The main restaurant area is little more cozy but seemed to have plenty of space. Parking is plentiful and my wife spoke with the owner and was informed a drive through service was being constructed to allow even more options for patron. Was a great evening and a wonderful location for the event.
One of the best places we've eaten since we moved here. We were told about this place by some neighbors and we drove out to try it. Definitely worth the drive! I had the stuffed schnitzel and my husband had the schnitzel. Comes with 2 sides and a roll. Very good. Our waiter was a great young man, who answered our questions honestly! Would definitely recommend! They say the burgers and blackened catfish are really good, too. Just a reason to drive out again! Oh, and the prices were really good, too!
