impeccable service, great food and wines. A local "Truluck's" equivalent in my personal opinion.

We love this place and have 3 times since opening, every time spending $200 or more for our dinner, not an issue. As all places do, the food was not as great as times past. Our steak was cooked incorrectly & our side was cold. Chef was amazing and corrected it and it was fine, we were happy. Our food took almost an hour to come out, I think it was forgotten. All that to say our bartenders who were serving us were great! I took issue with a manager named Jamie who came to the back where we were 6 times, there were only 3 tables back there, ours being 1 of them. Jamie’s came back to do her normal management duties, “are you enjoying your meal”, “ how was everything”. In all 6 times she came back she overlooked our table. I mean, we were there for 2 hrs, it was super obvious that she didn’t see us as a paying guests, it didn’t help that we were the only Mexicans in the restaurant, I mean besides back of the house. I approached Jamie and let her know that the bartenders did a great job but that she really bothered me by not coming to say anything to our table, it was just odd. Jamie explained that she had been asked to go to the same table 3 times and that’s why she did it. Jamie-I believe you, but do better, the optics in that situation should have been top of mind. We were celebrating our 17yr wedding anniversary and had patience on our side, with the food having to go back and the initial wait that we had, it might have been helpful for you to hear what we had to say.

We enjoyed our group of 6 dinner in the private room. The cocktails especially the Pony Express were our favorite along with the Steak Tartare and French Onion Soup. Chef Adrian came by a few times which was a very nice touch, Haley took great care of us, and Jenna thank you for the tour and history lesson of the beautiful building transformation too. We will definitely be back.

We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary with lunch at City Post - it was our first time there, but definitely not our last. From the Cheese & Charcuterie stater, to the Wedge Salad and Baked Salmon, every bite was well made and beautifully plated. The customer service was fantastic as well the complementary Key Lime Pie for our celebration. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. We will be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a locally-owned, chef-prepared dining experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinning experience. Everything from oysters to sea bass to the steak had a clean, fresh taste. No over seasoning, no over-the-top sauces, just fresh food cooked perfectly.

Great tuna poke and steak, but what truly makes this place special, (other than the amazing decor and ambiance) is the back bar, and DUSTIN (bartender) specifically. This guy created all the good cocktails you’ll see on the menu. He will also introduce you to things you’d never thought you’d enjoy drinking, but made with your exact tastes in mind. I love the restaurant in and of itself, but I don’t think I’m alone in saying that the reason I return is because of staff like Dustin.

City Post is lovely. Excellent service, beautiful and tasteful remodel of a historic building, and everyone in our party of four was pleased with their lunch. Salads, tuna poke, lobster roll, French onion soup, shrimp cocktail. Reservations recommended for dinner. Definitely bringing a higher level of food and service to downtown.

Another great dining experience at City Post! I had the filet mignon and my wife had the salmon. Both were cooked to perfection. The ambience was perfect. They’ve done an amazing job with the restoration of the old post office. Service was great as always. And Chef Adrian stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. We will be back for sure! This restaurant is a much needed addition to the Georgetown square.

Best in Georgetown - food and service!!! We stopped in for lunch on a recent Saturday. Chef walked us to our table. Our server JP was attentive and knowledgeable about offerings. It was a bitter cold, windy day and he suggested a hot, peppermint tea, which really warmed me up quick. Food was inventive and flavor-full!!! Chef happened to walk us out and was very nice and enthusiastic. Cannot wait to go back.

I stopped by this recent addition to Georgetown cuisine for lunch on a Friday. Parking is whatever you can find on the street. Entrance includes a ramp for the mobility impaired. This restaurant occupies the former US Post Office in downtown Georgetown and has done a wonderful job of restoring many of the charming features of the building. There are several different interior spaces to enjoy dining or a beverage of your choice. They have their own Oyster Bar on premises, their own butcher shop, an extensive wine list, and a full bar. We enjoyed their City Post salads, the Tuna Poke bowl and the lobster roll platter for lunch. Generous portions and delicious execution made for satisfying dining. Service was attentive and prompt. Prices are reasonable while in keeping with the fine dining experience. Recently opened, as the venue continues to get up to speed, management expects to offer a wider variety of hours available. They don't want to sacrifice their quality of service! Finally, there is a large event room upstairs, accessible by elevator, for groups. See pics. Overall, a fine choice for the Georgetown crowd.
