Matt was very fun and knowledgeable about all the wines we tasted. He was great at explaining wines to beginners and wine lovers alike in our group. I highly recommend for a group tasting!
Great wine selection and prices, Thursday nights are very chill. I love the manager here she’s super sweet and hardworking, staff is very happy and welcoming. Good place to unwind very comfortable

We have been to Fredericksburg many times, but never stopped by Barons Creek. Amazing wines and great staff at this tasting room. Crazy Train and Velvet are outstanding reds. Great place to hang out before dinner on the square.
I was charged $35.00 for a small plastic cup of wine. That is ridiculous. I will never return. This winery should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of customers especially during the 2022 Poppy Festival in GTX. I did get a double glass which in reality would of come out to $22. Very disappointed—will not return. I was considering doing a wine tasting but have decided against it after this.4/26/22-Good Evening, I have decided after much thought to change my review from 1 to 4 after I talked to Megan D., Asst GM with Baron Creek Winery in Fredericksburg, TX. I explained my displeasure with the GTX location during the Poppy Festival this past weekend. Megan had empathy and validated my concerns. She made me feel like I was the only person at that time. She went as ensuring my account was credited including my tip. Megan took a bad situation and turned into a good one. I will be sure to stop and visit the next time I am in Fredericksburg.
Great wines, nice place. If you are into local wineries this is the place to be.
Wine is exceptional and Tom is the best host ever. Definitely a must visit in Georgetown
