We will never go back to Applebee's. Went in for lunch and a drink..sat at the bar. The bartender had zero customer service skills, he was rude and frankly kind of gross. We each ordered a margarita... I literally watched him grab a glass that I saw being drank from by another customer not even 5 minutes margaritas..., dip it in the sinks most likely filled w disinfectant and dingy water, shake it off, and pour my margarita into it. Disgusting! We paid our tab and left to go eat somewhere else. Guess that's how Applesbees washes their barware. ?
Service was horrible, we ordered 2 alcoholic beverages. Got our appetizer, half way way done with the appetizer, still no drinks. I Watched the bartender talking to people at the bar and gave them a refill, The bar was not full of people. He didn't know how to multitask. He would stop and start conversing with a couple at the bar and never started making our drinks, I would have told the waiter to cancel my order but he never came to the table until he brought the drinks. After we got our drinks and was almost done with our food then the waiter started coming to our table. Brought us the check real fast. I will no longer go to Applebee's here in Georgetown. Every time we give them a chance horrible service..
We had been on the road all day and hadn’t eaten since noon. We couldn’t find anything open except for Applebees do we stopped. It was 11:20 PM and we waited were 4 or 5 employees and 2 tables with customers. We waited at least 20 minutes to get seated. I don’t usually complain but this was the worst service I’ve ever had. Seems like they could put customers 1st.
We went to dinner last night. We were so very disappointed in the quality of food and beverages. The steaks were ordered med rare. They were served medium well and dry. We ordered butter and received a yellow oil. So gross looking. My son ordered their whiskey burger and woke up last night with food poisoning. My stomach hurt after eating one wonton taco. The sodas were flat and overall, the dinner definitely not worth the 69$ it cost us! Finally. The service was very very slow. We will not be returning.
Showed up at 7pm. Not many customers. They had 2 waitstaff, a host and a bartender. Full kitchen in back. Host told us it would be at least 30 minute wait. We said we would wait. Host came back in 30 minutes and told us it would be another 30 minutes. We were the only ones waiting. They obviously did not want any customers.
Just had drinks but bartender was friendly and prices wasn't bad. Would go again
The coffee was the best part of my meal. Food was hot. Prime rib dipper sandwich was too salty.
Had to walk out. Red flags everywhere. Host was sitting texting. Trash on the floor, waitress was not excited to be there and both of our pre wrapped silverwear had food stuck to them. Both sets. I don't even want to think about what their kitchen looked like. Never again.
What A joke! Cosmic wings was literally Applebee's wings with a few nasty chips sprinkled on top. Didn't even have waffle fries, they sent Applebee's regular fries. You have all the blame for allowing the Ghost kitchen to serve this nasty food!
Ok, let's face it. This isn't fine dining. But it is a known quantity. And when your Christmas plans changed due to a family emergency and a group wants to eat something, you find any port in a storm. And between the virus, staffing, and supply chain issues, the plain truth is that it's borderline impossible to find Christmas dinner in the Austin metro dinner unless you've made reservations way in advance. After driving past many crowded Chinese options and 24 hour breakfast options, we were all but resigned to getting something from a drive through when we drove past this location a second time and saw the parking lot had emptied out some. The location was short on staff, but both the host and our server Garrett did their best to take care of us and make us feel welcome. The menu was limited for the holiday and they were out of several items (notably their version of a French dip), but we all managed to find something to satisfy the hunger. My babyback ribs were pretty satisfying as I do like grilled ribs and the sweet Asian chili sauce was a welcome change from the usual cloyingly sweet BBQ sauce that most chain restaurants slather on ribs. The other two in our dining party had Caesar salads -- one with shrimp and the other with grilled chicken. Both of them described the salads as a pleasant surprise.Nope, it's not fine dining. It's chain dining. But when you're looking for a late night and/or holiday dining option, this location delivers.
