Amazing food with great service. We will be back.
We went for brunch date this morning and had a great experience. The food was amazing; I had the Humble Rooster from the brunch menu. The chicken was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spice, and the biscuit was huge and fluffy - obviously homemade, which is what this restaurant is known for. Paris, our server, was attentive and checked on us several times. Definitely a great spot to eat in Georgetown.
First time in and loved the food, service and atmosphere. Made reservation online for Brunch which made it easy to just walk right in! Fresh ingredients and fast service. Will definitely be back for evening experience!
Wonderful food and great atmosphere. All the staff were very hospitable. Review by Gabriel A Culiat
Shrimp Ravioli, BLT Wedge, and the Texatini w/extra olives are my regular faves❣️??? Great place to treat our friends to. So much to offer‼️
3 adults and baby with highchair on Father's Day. No reservations and we were able to walk right in and be seated.I ordered a Mojito that was great. My 2nd Mojito wasn't anything like the first. It was sour and in a larger glass. Obviously made by a different bartender. I couldn't even drink it. Waitress took it back and brought another. Still no simple sugar added. I wish bartenders would use the same recipe.Food was good. Large portions. We each took home half our meals. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. Our food was good and fresh. The grilled chicken on my salad was dry though.I'm including photos of our meals.
Absolutely!! Went in with a large group and they were very attentive, friendly and the food was great and flavorful. Will be returning.
Almost everything has garlic in it. My husband is allergic to garlic and he got a very marginal meal. Garlispc was in vegetables, potatoes, literally everything. I guess the chef is not very knowledgeable about subtle flavors and has to cover up with garlic. We won’t go there again.
Stopped in for lunch with a group of friends on a Friday. We arrived just after 11:00 to avoid the substantial luncheon crowd. We were able to be seated right away. Parking is limited in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant, plan to stroll a little, or use the valet service out front. The venue is open and airy with lots of seating both indoors and on patios. A full menu of locally sourced cuisine and adult beverages is available. Service was good if not exceptional. We enjoyed a variety of salads and sandwiches, as well as the soup of the day. My arugula steak salad was delicious and had a little spicy kick from the steak rub. Others had the fish and chips sandwich, and the grilled chicken salad. All enjoyed their food although one commented that the soup was spicier than they prefer. Prices are competitive for the somewhat upscale Georgetown marketplace. My companion and I had two steak salads and two soft drinks for $46 before tip. I would recommend this venue for those looking for tasty local foods in a pleasant setting. Music is provided on some evenings, as well.
We decided to come here for brunch but the stuffed trout kept looking so good that we both decided to try it. One with veggies, the other as it comes with mashed potatoes. I think the veggies flavored well with the trout and helped the moisture. I added squeezed lemon on top of both and that added a little zing! The artichoke dip was a little thick, but it was still ok. (May have been sitting bc it wasn't hot) Brussels were pretty good. Definitely different. It has a few red peppers for a little mild spice, sliced apples for a little sweetness and walnuts for crunch. We would def try again and order something different next time.
