Horrible experience! I got a singular piece of fajita meat on my tacos definitely ran by a bunch of kids will never come back here again wasted $30 to eat tortillas! I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. If I could rate negatively I would. Just go to the place across the street it’s better and cheaper!!!!
I'm not coming here again!! I was eating tacos de trompo and found a tiny sharp bone I could of choked and die.
I ordered twisted chips and they gave me fries. They put the cheese on the bottom why? And to top it off they put paper on the bottom of the fries/cheese so the chees sticks to it and you'll eat the paper and cheese together. Great taste just not good thinking
I wanna start off with TERRIBLE customer service. I'm not one to be mean to customer service. Since I know what they go through. So I always approach everyone friendly. When I picked up my ordered she asked for my name. I thought I ordered it under another name but when I finally said my full name she corrected me on my full name like it's not my name and I don't know My own name. But that was not a big deal. Her attitude didnt bother me since I just went to pick up and leave. They got my order wrong and when I went back to let them know, the cashier didnt know how to respond. I guess the lead for that shift (same lady) came and I let her know everything that was wrong with my order (which was everything). I gave her my receipt that literally says what I ordered. She said "did you order it like this" with an attitude. The proof is right in front of her face. She was upset, but they made it again. On top of that they weren't all that good. And the horchata about $3 for a few sips. That small cup was full of ice. The whole place is pretty though. The salsa verde was good. And I think it's cool that there are kiosks outside for people to order while they pump their gas.
Awesome taqueria in Garland! I went there yesterday and tried three carnitas street tacos, and they were good! It is hard to find good carnitas anywhere, but I have to say this place is a winner! My tacos came with a small side of warm excellent refried beans and Mexican rice, which contains some peas, diced carrots and cilantro. The lady at the register who took my order was very nice and the speed of service was excellent! I'm surprised that there are only two locations in all DFW; thought they'd be all over like Fuzzy's, Rusty's, and Velvet taco. But it's cool. Mesquite is Garland's neighbor, and I'm less than 20min down Beltline/Broadway and now know where to come for good comida! Thank you!
Ler me start with the bad and get it out of the way, Over priced taco. Done. Other than that People are nice at this location. Food is good. It's a combo of typical Mexican with a tex-mex twist. I like it and go back often.
The BEST TACOS IN THE COUNTRY ??.It looks like a hole in the wall , but it's actually nice on the inside, you can dine in. The Street tacos is where it's at!!
Food is Absolutely amazing and a great price!
The tacos are mediocre at best. There are way too many great taco shops nearby to even try this place again. The order was wrong. When I got home i was missing a taco and rice and beans. Also really expensive compared to the quality and taste of their competitors. Communicating was an issue. I will not try this place again.
The food is always great but the service was a little off (nothing to cry about). If your looking for delicious, hot, hit the spot tacos and more I definitely recommend Twisted Trompo!
