Tranky’s is exactly what you want and expect from a locally owned Mexican restaurant. Excellent, authentic food and a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere. The meats are well cooked and the servings are generous enough that you don’t need the queso beforehand. But get it anyway. It’s delicious, as is the selection of salsas. We work closer to here and this may become a regular place!
Currently my coworker and myself are looking for best burger in Garland this is top 2 of 15 places we go go to. And the sleepy sauce on the fries ... I hope you are planning on doing anything after cuz you need a nap!
We love this place! Lupe Barrera and his crew are very conscientious and the food reflects this.Our last visit I ended up coming home with a jar of his Habanero Salsa and oh my... I'm down to only a couple ounces and am now in an emergency situation. This stuff is spicy, but not so much that it destroys your taste buds. Amazing with eggs and tamales. I'm heading that way.The Fish Tacos and Picadillo Gorditas are my favorite.
Me and a friend from New York stopped in for lunch, not knowing what to expect. What we got was a feast of amazing tacos, burritos, and quesadillas with some of the hottest, most flavorful ingredients ever. Every bite was perfect, and the employees were friendly and polite. Spend your money here, yall.
Extremely busy at lunch & very evident as to why. Friendly staff put together excellent burritos, tacos, & gorditas quickly. My brisket burrito was wonderful, husband fully enjoyed his burrito & tacos, while my daughter is ready to go back for more chicken gorditas.
This place is FANTASTIC! Love love love it! The menu is small. And the food is top notch. I highly recommend the brisket tacos. I don't care for the salsa. But the queso I'd very good. Great lunch place. I Highly recommend!

The best Tacos in Dallas. The queso is second to none. Try everything with a splash of roasted habanero salsa. Best people best service.
Daisy was very friendly and helpful when I called in and told her I was vegetarian and unsure what to order. She suggested the veggie tacos to me and I got the taco platter with refried beans.The food was honestly AMAZING.The corn tortillas are vegan friendly.The rice is chicken flavored, which I don’t mind because I’m still weening off of chicken lol.I definitely recommend this place.My food was out in about 15 minutes. No hesitation. Try this place. You won’t regret it.
