This food is terrible. I am upset. I drove 35 to go pick up this food. I recently moved to Dallas, and I asked people to give me a recommendation for Nigerian food, and they mentioned this place. I got the Ewa agoin and ofado rice. The Ewa agoin was very salty, and there was not even enough fried stew or beef on it. The ofado rice was just okay, with not much flavor.
Go with a non expectation ooh the design/ interior basic but The food mostly the Abula ewedu and gbegeri was superb!! Absolutely nostalgic tasted exactly like the local food I remember eating in Ibadan Nigeria absolutely recommend➕
I really wish I could say something good but I was brought here on a date and I still haven’t received my food. Just a side of beef and goat meat and he’s finish. Been waiting like 45 minutes for just a side of beef and goat meat. Well it just arrived?? The Owner came to me personally and apologized for the inconvenience.
I ordered the abula bowl and it was 10/10, tastes just exactly like mamaput. The goat meat was a bit tough. Environment was excellent with fantastic afrobeat.
If o could give this place zero stars I would!!!! A bug was in my food oil filled to the top what have I done but paid for my food
Today was my first time experiencing Salt N Pepper Kitchen catering. The atmosphere was welcoming they had nice music playing very clean and the air conditioning was cold definitely a plus. I went in and ordered a Egusi soup with no meat and the young man that I was talking to asked me was I a vegetarian and I told him some what he said well I wanted to let you know that the Egusi soup has meat in it so he wanted me to be aware of that. That was definitely a plus cuz if I was a vegetarian then that would matter but he went on to explain to me and I told him that was fine I still eat meat and so he came back and I asked him about my my, (not sure how to spell it) then he asked me how did I know about my my and I told him that my stepfather was from Nigeria and that's where I learned it. He seemed very shocked I knew what it was so he went on to ask me about my stepfather he asked me was he still alive and I told him no he wasn't and he asked me was he a good man and I said definitely he was. So, as far as the food goes it's amazing and the guy that I talk to just alone from even eating the food is what makes me want to come back so I want to give a shout out to the guy that talked to me today about my stepfather that was from Nigeria the other waitresses were really nice and ask me if I needed anything but I will definitely definitely definitely be back because I normally go to North Dallas and I live in Garland so it's very far away from me and I told the guy that I usually go to Murphy's and so I'm glad that there is a Nigerian restaurant where I live closer so thank you again and I really appreciate it signed a satisfied customer, Dom.P.S. The man I talked to told me to try the Spinach Stew next time and I can't wait.
Omg! I’m new here and I Visit this place every week after first trying it. The food is so so good! The customer service is really good and over the phone! Uche is so nice every time, very great service. 10/10 recommend. I can’t wait for my family to come and visit because we will have dinner there.
My first time eating Amala in over 25 years in America. Their restaurant was very clean with very polite staffs. I ordered my amala to go, and when I got home it did not disappoint. Portion size was nice, from the meat to the meal itself….it was an amazing meal. Thank you salt and pepper.
They served a very cold food with 0% customer service.. my first and last time at the messed up restaurant. The manager was also rude and practically did anything about my complaint. Go here if You want to be disrespected!Update! Kindly check the owners response to my initial post. Shows you exactly what y'all need to know about this business. So unprofessional and poor customer service.
Waited for one hour before the food came, the amala tasted horrible and the cow leg we were served was so strong non of us could eat it. The place is either overrated or it has lost itself
