Love their coffee and their updated space! One of the best cafes in the greater DFW area. The espresso is strong and comes through in their drinks (as it always should). It is well set up for remote work and studying with an abundance of seating. The space has really greened up and many of the chairs have been updated (yay!), so lots of lovely little vignettes to work with for those of us that appreciate aesthetic spaces. If you go, stay awhile! And love on the staff - they're great.
Been here many times. Each time, the latte is always on point. Lavander latte is my favorite. Love the open interior. They are having a special "Strange Things" drink menu. Y'all need to try "Eddie Hellfire". Sweet and spicy. Questionable, but trust me. Drink is uniquely amazing!
The coffee here is good and so were the vibes! There is plenty of seating areas and just being there feels really relaxing. They have wooden chess boards and a piano. I went twice in a row. If you like sweet iced coffee like me, I recommend getting the 11 from the Stranger Things menu. The Eleven has maple, brown sugar, espresso and milk. It was perfect! I also tried the Mike coffee iced from the Stranger Things menu but it was not that great because the milk overpowered it. It had caramel, white chocolate, espresso and milk. It would probably be better if I got it hot. The blueberry scone was pretty good!
This cute little shop is right in downtown garland. The ambiance is so warm and welcoming. Honestly went to check out their themed menu (stranger things!). Which they apparently switch out from time to time. I have the upside down and will be back to try more.6/22- Beware that parking in the area might be limited due to construction.
I’ve been going here on the weekends for a long time and loved it! I loved the warm “old town” historical feel the building, furniture and decor provided. The service and food was great and most of all, the lattes were very good. We were out of town last week so today was my first visit in 2 weeks. The vibe was off when I walked it. Some of the “old warm” furniture had been replaced with modern, which I thought was odd. I stood in line and saw the worst customer service! The counter person had a horrible demeanor! She didn’t greet people and was just rude (never seen her there before). She was heating food and texting while waiting on the food to heat. While waiting for her to heat 3 different items (one a time) not once did she acknowledge me or anyone else in line. Her down time while heating food was to be on her phone and completely disregard customers. After getting my order, I sat and observed more. It was definitely not the same. I decided to ask and sure enough NEW OWNERS took over about a month ago. Sad to see what once was is no more! ?
Got a cinnamon cruffin and a cold brew "Eleven" coffee from their current Stranger Things drink menu today. I love their pastries, and the coffee was very unique and balanced. (Can't wait to try more of their varieties!) The people who work there are friendly, and I've been able to have chats with other customers as well. They have the option of a normal table, as well as a range of comfortable seating including couches and cushy single seats, suitable for anyone in a group or on their own. A very comfortable environment. I've loved all my visits here, and hope to come again soon :)
Went out of the way 20-30mins and was worth the stop. Super cool atmosphere that I could see myself studying at for hours. I ordered the Cardamon latte with oat milk and it was good. A little bit on the milky side but could still taste the coffee and the flavor. Super friendly baristas and the food was good. The dip with the sandwich was great.
tried this place today while i was out with some friends. the environment was so nice and relaxing. i got an iced latte with chocolate syrup and it was even better than i thought it would be? very friendly workers, particularly the girl working the counter (brown hair in a bun and was wearing glasses) and i got my order of two drinks while still standing at the counter. definitely will be back!
Me and my husband went on a Sunday morning for the first time. We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The building is on the main square in downtown Garland. It's got a cool industrial vibe but not in an outdone way. A lot of the original architecture is visible. The building is long and narrow with the counter in the back with the in-house kitchen/bakery.Lots of seating options. Sofas, tables, high tables and the two sweet spots up front by the windows.Service was good and helpful for first-timers. We had a spinach quiche and spinach and ham quiche, both were perfect. We also had a yogurt and the fruit inside was ripe and juicy.I had the lavender ices latte and my husband had the iced white chocolate mocha. Both drinks were very good. We would definitely order both again. The vibe was perfect and was almost full even on a Sunday morning. Lots if people doing homework, working, reading and having good conversation. I'll be back for sure.Oh, and the bathroom was very clean!!
Good coffee, unique place to work or hang out! They were accommodating and made the 10oz latte I asked for (cappuccino is 6oz, latte is 12 oz). I like their cardimum (half sweet) with oat milk. Prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming back!
