We visited OTB for Mother's Day and had an awesome time. The restaurant was very busy (as expected), but we were still seated quickly. Our server came to us right away and was very attentive. The food was delicious! Fajita combo with steak and carnitas, Chimichanga with beef, Kids Enchilada plate, all perfect. And the watermelon Margaritas are still calling my name. I had a great Mother's Day. Thanks OTB!
We were there almost 2 hours because the service was very slow. We were seated almost 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. Our waitress said "I just wanna give you a heads up...it's gonna be awhile before you get your food, and it's not my fault." Not a great way to start off! This was the Northwest Hwy and Saturn location. I don't think we'll be back! I guess we'll try the one on the other side of town.
Great food and great service. Sarah was my server and she did a great job . She was very friendly and always made sure I had everything I needed. The manager Paul stopped to check on me and was very nice and also wanted to make sure I had everything I needed to. Superior service.
This is the best Mexican restaurant in garland tx… I’m always trying to find restaurants who push themselves to the extreme no matter what and the amount of passion and love that the employees have for the guests and their co workers is amazing…The food here is really good and it’s really fast to get out of the kitchen and the thing is they are short staff and the pace of the workers is unbelievable! The food not only tastes amazing but the presentation of the food is amazingly cool!Thank you On The Border in Garland TX!!
Sweet salsa worst by far of any that I have had anywhere! Why sweet??? Yuck, the Fundido was floating in grease with a cold block of cheese in the middle, everything I ate was sweet because of the nasty salsa...I wouldn't even want to honor the sauce by saying that it was salsa. Did I say the salsa was sweet, omgoodness who would want it sweet? Horrible, service was below any stars, no refills no follow-up for anything bad all the way around I don't know why we went to OTB if the salsa isn't good it ruins the rest of the meal.
We came in my brother and I and he's from out of town so I told him about the special that they have on Monday with the Endless Enchiladas there's a little bit of wait but after a short time Nick the manager came and take care of us with a nice waitress Sabrina thanks for being so helpful at the last minute
Went there for lunch with a large group some of which were moody teenage girls fresh off a volleyball game (bless the hearts of the service staff) food was good however the torta I had that my wife also chose for lunch the bread was damn near rock hard.
This restaurant continues to go down hill and disappointment. I orderd chips and salsa to go and was given 1/2 a bag of crushed up chips! This is the second time they have been stingy with chips that I'm paying for, not the free ones that come with the order I didn't even get those. I got one bag of sorry chips. And my food was cold. I picked ut up early, but apparently they set it out for uber eats or whatever and I sat there waiting 15 minutes for someone acknowledging that I was waiting forme to pick up.It wasn't even busy inside
I order the pick 3 my order of empanadas was burnt when I got home is when I noticed it call them and they fix my order. My biggest issues with take out at restaurants they tend to slack at night or if they are closing. I went about 7pm they were a lil busy and it VDay so I tried to have sympathy. They fix my order and I was satisfied. There's not an on the border in my area but we love the food so we will travel for it.
I love the food here. Service is sometimes slow but waitress was great
