This was our first visit to this particular location. We were quite disappointed with our experience as we are avid fans of the company. It is easily nestled off the freeway and Google Maps takes you there. The wait was ten minutes (not bad). The building is stunning. Lot's of Latin art deco. Upon arriving to our booth, the floors were sticky. Lot's of food under the booth. I asked for a table instead. Again, unclean. We asked a waiter to clean it. Manny was our server. Our food arrived and it was lukewarm. The flauta was burnt, and tamale was dry, and the beans were cold. The beer (on tap) tasted watered down. Manny however was a champ! He saw the look on my face and offered me a to-go order which I obliged. The chips were stale. Note: the manager on duty was quite disengaged. In fact, he took Manny and the other servers off track. He was cussing and playing around with my server in Spanish. Unfortunately, I understand the language, and found his behavior and and words to be a bit inappropriate. Overall, we were a bit disappointed with the entire experience. This location is in the new Firewheel community. However, there is not a lot of pride in keeping it clean, inviting and professional. The Mesquite and North Dallas locations are much more enjoyable.

Can't remember our server's name but he was great, very attentive and accommodating. They've changed their menu up and it's pretty good. Good portions, reasonably priced...you gotta check it out if your usual spot is too busy.

My son just ordered some food to go it was not what was pictured. We got 24 tortillas they are store bought not homade like what you receive in the restaurant. The fries are not the same what they show online. They came in a Mr. Beast box and was soggy. The rice had beans all throughout. We will never place another to go order again . We definitely got scammed!

OtB always a quick classic for the tex-mex craving. All your standard options are available, if only a little less 'authentic' than your hole-in-the-wall taqueria. They also have great drinks and super fresh chips/salsa too!

Had our anniversary dinner her. Staff was professional and friendly. The food was really good. And their frozen mango margarita was exquisite. Definitely coming back again.

The cook was on point! I ordered a chili rellano and cheese enchilada. The batter had a crisp crunch and the cheese stretched out like pizza! Delicious! Also the service was outstanding Saturday afternoon 1/29/ 22

Great service. Got our drinks, chips, salsa, and our order of queso super fast. Ordered our meals and they were out just after at finished our chips and queso. Our drinks were quickly refilled and our food was delicious!

We just happened to stop in for a quick meal in between errands for work. But I will continue to make this On the border, one of my weekly if not bi-weekly stop for early supper. Eric the assistant Manager, was able to guide us efficiently through the culinary perspective of your restaurant, and made perfect recommendations. Without his service and knowledge, on the border would be just another Tex mex food chain.

The best waitress I have ever had. She was so specific, quick, and a great communicator. The food came out quick and was delicious. Big portion sizes. Great prices. I’ll be coming back to this location!

We were just here. We left after 25 minutes of waiting. Waitress was serving person seated next to us saw me and my 2 kids. After 15 minutes I asked her if someone could assist us. Bar tender saw us also. She said she would be back. We eventually left 10 minutes later. I understand staff is low but to not even get acknowledge or get our drinks after that long is not ok.
