I got 1 piece of fish & it was not crispy in the middle because it was so thick. It was over crispy on the thin part of the filet. Shrimp had no taste or flavor, & a little rubbery. Oysters not fried crispy enough. Fried rice was old, hard and dry. Boudin balls were hot, fresh & delicious!
It's was tasty a little spicy. Not bland like most places. It was our first time going. The place needs an update though. Please owners do a makeover to this place, it deserves it. Very nice workers. Why are the restrooms not open? Is it cause they don't want to clean them? I read in another review that they were not open.
After a job fair and going to work my belly told me, LOOK there is the Cajun place you've been passing for months, go eat..Now! I pulled into the restaurant which is located next to a busy access road. When you enter, it's still set up like the start of Covid which was odd for Texas. The young lady at the counter must have had a lot of sugar earlier and was crashing since she was low energy. Low energy and playing with the phone doesn't equal great customer service. You can see the menu up against the wall and my belly said, gumbo and fish. I wanted to wash my hands but both restrooms were closed, insert eye roll with an annoying really. There were only two customers and it took a while to get my food. The gumbo was plain with hardly any stuff inside of soup. The fish were lightly breaded yet really no exceptional flavor. For 20 bucks the not stellar customer service, no bathrooms and flavorless food was not a good experience. I will try it again in the future, maybe it was an off day for the restaurant and for sure for my big belly. Insert the sound of a dying pacman.
Come HERE for the crawfish!! I lived in Houston and New Orleans and this some of the best crawfish I done had. Get the spicy garlic flavor and ask for some butter on the side, and put a lil juice from the crawfish bag in the butter! 10/10
I am very disappointed waited months to get my crawfish and when I do they are babies alot were straight tail meaning they were dead when they cooked them. Potatoes weren't cooked all the way !!! $57.00 !!! Wasted!! Never Again!!
The pork chop was not cooked. It was nothing but a chunk of fat. No seasoning or taste. The coating on the pork chop just fell completely off. So disappointed no supper for me tonight. Rice old!!!SMDH if I could will give a negative 1
I have been coming here since they opened. The food is great, taste like I'm back home in the boot (Louisiana) The workers are awesome and friendly... GREAT customer service
Got the 10 hot wings and fries. I'm not a big fan of battered fries but, these were pretty good. The wings were cooked well and they are not shy on the sauce. Even as wet as they were, they stillba bit of crispness to them. Food came out quickly and hot. Will definitely be back to try other menu items or for hot wings again.
The food is good but the service is horrible. The lady that was taking my order in drive thru was extremely rude. She didn’t greet, just started by saying what are you getting today. When I told her my order instead of her telling my choices to pick from, she said “ & you want it how”?. I will never visit this spot again. It’s too many seafood places on every corner for me to have to deal with rude service.
Great food/ great prices/ great service- will definitely be back and recommend highly
