I had one of the best meals here last week - the carne flameada. Their skirt steak was impeccably cooked and SO juicy and flavorful. I love the bean dip they serve with their chips and salsa also. It is very unique. I got the swirl margarita as well which was quite tasty but also very very strong - hope you can hold your tequila!! Highly recommend this place and they have a cheaper lunch menu during the week as well.
Pleasant restaurant in large shopping center. First time at this Gloria's. Our food was well prepared, but mine was cold. I don't mean just warm, it was cold. The beans felt like they had just come out of the refrigerator. Also, they looked exactly like the bean dip you get with salsa. When I finally got our server's attention, my wife was nearly through with her dish (which was warm). I ate about a third of my entree, and a little warm rice. Server offered us complimentary desert, which we declined. To their credit, the manager stopped me on the way out with a new ticket that had removed my meal. He apologized for the cold food.
Its basic overpriced food. The rice tastes boring, its sticky too. The guac was fresh. The beans were perfect & not smelly. The queso is amazing. The chimi itself overall is basic tho. The chicken fajita was flavored well but kinda chewy. Not really worth the $14 (lunch price. Drinks are strong. Mojito is delicious & you can def feel a buzz after just 1. The service was nice. Clean restaurant.
I was very surprised at the speed of the service, considering how full the restaurant was. We tried the Carne Asada and it was on point and delicious. The sides of the dish were very good portions to make sure you are full, but not blow up your stomach. The employees were very nice and professional. Price was very good.
We had the lunch special at 3:00. I had the salmon salad and as you can see the portion was huge. It was absolutely amazing. The chips are always fresh, I like that they are thin and perfect for the salsa and black beans. You could make a meal out of that, you won't be disappointed. The nachos seemed small but also a perfect portion, not too much and we had room to enjoyed and split a tres leches cake. We left not feeling stuffed just happy. Shout out to our waiter Clay, he was there to fill up the water and bring us chips and salsa without ever having to ask or look for him. I will go back for the salad, so many choices but that salad is my favorite
Great food and tea. I loved it. Id stay away from the tamales though. Personally they were a little pasty for me. My favorite so far is the al la Gloria, I think that was the name of it.
Best chips and Salsa in town. Always get good service at the bar.
