Had passed by many times and finally decided to stop with family. Nice look to the inside and service was great. Not all of the food lived up to expectations though. Started with the Chef’s Sampler Platter. The dates and falafel were excellent. The fried goat cheese was good and the crab cake was a joke in terms of size and any resemblance to a crab cake. Should have called it a fried remnant of what might have once been a sliver of crab. As for main courses and sides for the four of us: Greek Salad, add Salmon: average Grilled Chicken on Pita: very good Smoked Jalapeno-Rubbed Salmon Taco: overdone and way overpriced Fried Goat Cheese: same as appetizer and she liked it again Asparagus: average Roasted Brussel Sprouts: very good Baklava: Highlight of the meal With all of the choices in this area, I just can’t see returning. Nothing wrong with it, but a few portion sizes and pricing don’t make it a return trip for any in our group.
Birthday dinner @ferahtexmed tonight and it was amazing! The chef came out to answer questions and adjusted the special for me on the fly, the salsa was so good, and our waitress kind and attentive!
After reading all the glowing reviews on how amazing the Cast Iron Roasted Chicken was, I was so disappointed that my chicken was dry and the potatoes were very undercooked. So my $23+ is wasted and my meal went in the trash. The cast iron chicken meal looked good but the taste of the food was a big miss. I will not try again.
We took our adult kids and grandkids ranging from 10 months to 12 years old to dinner at Ferah Tex-Mex Kitchen and had a great time. They have a lovely rectangular marble table in the center of the restaurant that easily seated all 11 of us with a little room to spare. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was great! The other rooms around the dining area were filled with other guests, but they were able to handle all of us with no problems. Thanks, Ferah for a lovely dinner!
Food, drinks, and service are great. Some of the side items are a bit over priced.
I’ve eaten here at least 10x in the last two years (+ ordered via door dash a handful of times) and the food is ALWAYS delicious. My favorite appetizers are the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake | Salad: Superfood Salad- packed with vibrant flavors | For the mains I’ve enjoyed the Lamb Chops and Braised Beef Short ribs the most but the Salmon is also good. The Wild Mushroom & Asparagus risotto is super creamy and tasty, but a bit too rich/ cheesy for me to have too often.I also recently discovered they have a daily happy hour 3-6pm and the Chargrilled Salsa + Hummus, Brussel Sprouts, and Jalapeño Salmon taco are my favorites.Don’t leave w/o try their desserts! The Texas Chocolate Mousse Cake is sooo delicious and rich— we usually share it between 2-3. We got the Coffee Crème Brulee once and although it was very good, it didn’t compare to the mousse cake!
Love this place! We have eaten here on several occasions. Chef is skilled; food is consistent and perfectly prepared. Service is attentive without being overbearing. This is the best Firewheel has to offer.
The space has been remodeled from the prior restaurant and is very pretty. Interesting yet calm, more open and light. Kitchen is open but not noisy. We split the Falafel Tower. Plenty for two people. Attractive presentation but would have enjoyed more Tatziki. Spouse had the Mixed Grill Platter. Meat was nicely flavored, chicken moist, Gyro not greasy. Rice pilaf was moist and flavorful. I had Cast Iron Roasted Chicken. Again chicken was nicely flavored and reasonably moist. The melange of vegetables in base was very flavorful. Served on a very hot cast iron plate so Tasso sauce was mostly seared away. The owner stopped at every table. They are all working hard as a team to provide an excellent dining experience. Great professional waitstaff.
Great place for date night. Delicious food and nice ambiance, our favorite was bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese, it’s a must try. Reasonable price for food, great quality and fresh food. Wonderful customer service, we will definitely visit again.
Staring off, the atmosphere is phenomenal a quaint little eatery with a very Mediterranean feel, due to the well designed interior. Puts off a fantastic vibe upon entry. There's also a patio area that'd I'd recommend for a date night. lambchops have to be the best I've ever had. I asked for rare and they were perfectly seared on each side. Exquisitely tender, juicy, seasoned to perfection. Melted off the bone with every bite. Truffle fries had a divine blend of flavors they were no too savory nor overpowered by the truffle oil.I would surely recommend. I hope to dine in next time. aAs I was making it into the door near closing, and didn't want to trouble them with another soiled table arrangement.
