My first visit. This no frills restaurant was very clean and had several tables available but, it looks like they do more to go business than dine in. The woman at the counter was friendly and quickly took my order and payment. I waited just a few minutes while my food was cooked to order. When I got home, it was still piping hot! The fish, fries and hushpuppies were all very good. The icing on the cake though, is they included tarter sauce, ketchup and a fork...without being asked. That's rare. I'll be back!
OMG!!! DONT DRIVE SOUTH FOR FISH ANYMORE!!!I was so excited to see a fish place so closeby. I typically have to drive from Richardson to somewhere south to get good catfish. We usually have to wait and its usually a little hole in the wall spot. But this was not and it is literally 10 minutes from my house!!! The catfish we ordered was GREAT!!! It was very good!!! It was authentic catfish, it was seasoned well, and my family all enjoyed and gave it a thumbs up!!!! We cannot wait to come back for more fish!
2 pc catfish 2 pc shrimp basket w/fries and 2 hushpuppies $10.49. Not bad. Hushpuppies weren't that good. But I came for the fish n shrimp. Don't eat much fried food these days, so this was treat. Its cheaper than Flying Fish!!

I've seen this place forever but never stopped because too many kids to please and fish was never an option. Today, I was alone, starving for the whole fish "works", so I stopped by.I got fried oysters, fried butterfly shrimp, fried catfish, french fries and hush puppies.Oysters are evidently very peculiar about being fried. Too much breading and too much "handling" and they shrivel up and are like little rocks.The best oysters I ever had were at Landry's Restaurant in New Orleans; until today.The best tasting, most perfectly cooked, juicy and crispy oysters I have tasted in years.The shrimp was perfect. Not overcooked which is so easy to do. I got 4 big shrimp and 4 large oysters in my order. I ordered a side of catfish; and they too were just perfection!The fries were delicious steak fries. I didn't care for the hush puppies but who is complaining about that!Don't be put off by the looks of this little place. It was spotless inside. My food was cooked to order and done in 12 minutes. The price is scary reasonable! Scary because I don't want them going away!Hungry for the perfect bite? Just go Crazy Catfish.
