I was very disappointed because chili's is one of my favorite restaurants and I haven't been there for a while and this Sunday I was craving for fajitas and a mango margarita,I was so excited waiting for my food and they didn't bring me what I order.I am very upset about it.
Fantastic. These folks were having a rough time but the staff has really turned it around. And thankful for that because of how few they are. American backbone is restaurants like this, that take hits and keep giving it their best. Because they try and they care.I can see it.And mega-Kudos to this place filled with regulars and doing their best with a shadow of the labor formerly, abundantly at their disposal. It's tough and Americans don't consider "give up" an option.I enjoy seeing that example.Even a chain restaurant in a fairly large town like Garland can show ppl what a patriotic example of capitalism can look like and always pull through, no matter what outside forces try and destroy it.Easy to take pride in and damn the naysayers.
In general, the food is decent. I've ordered food here before and it's been pretty good - what to expect when eating Chili's. However this is the first time I've dined in.Firstly, we were seated and I had to get up and go to the bar to tell them we had not been serviced yet. Then, like most chain restaurants, they have dispensed with their physical menus in place of scanning a QR code to access a menu on your phone. This is more of a critique of restaurant chains in general. The server forgot two items in our order and had to be reminded twice. Then took their time fixing the problem. I also had to stand up and wave down our server to be checked out.All in all, the food was okay but the service was terrible. I may order take out from this chili's since it's 500 meters from my house, but I will not be dining in again.
We had never been here and we were far from home near our original Chili's and couldn't make it home in time before they closed so we decided to try this Chili's out. The servers were so nice. We got our drinks, chips and salsa really fast. We ordered our food and it didn't take long to wait for that. The only thing I disliked was my food wasn't hot but lukewarm. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta with no onions, It was delicious. The flavors were all there. Very tasty just didn't like it lukewarm. The chips and salsa were on point very delicious. We got there at 9:30 pm and out by 10:15 pm. So that's my review at this location of Chili's.
The service and food was great... awesome place with awesome people!
Our server was nice and kept checking to see if we’re needed anything else. Nice diner whit my daughter and granddaughter
THEY DON'T DESERVE A ONE STAR RATING!!! Absolutely hated my experience there. They wouldn't seat my family because there were 5 of us, which included two children aged 2 and 8. The skinny white girl said they don't seat more than six people, but there were only 3 adults and 2 children, last I checked that added up to 5. As she was telling me that my 2 year old daughter puts us over 6, a group of overweight white people walked in, a family of four that she said she would seat. I lost it immediately. One it's 10:30 at night and way too hard to find another FAMILY RESTAURANT, and two we are a group of 5 not 6.It was racist behavior at it's finest. I asked to speak with the manager on duty and out comes a 16 yr old black teenager, that ironically felt bad about the situation. He apologized to me for the behavior but wouldn't force the server to seat us. Horrible experience, wouldn't have any of my BLACK friends and family to ever go back. It's in Garland which is a predominantly white city,so no surprise there. She should be fired for her behavior, and if I ever go back or if I'm in the neighborhood, I'll be sure to find a formal complaint with the manager Amber that was not on duty but had a plaque on the wall. Not a family restaurant and very racist.
Ordered to go a month ago, burger was twice the size as the bun and burnt to a crisp. We have gone to this location for 5 yrs due to location so decided to give it another try. Placed order to go less than a hour ago, went to pick up and they had no clue of my order. I was told by the kid at the desk we must have called the other location, no this number is in my contact list. When I asked to order and wait, he refused to take my order saying again I must have called another. Done with this Chili's and sadly very poor management. Trevor was the kids name when we called to speak to the manager Trevor said he was it and hung up on me. I will be contacting cooperate on Tuesday
Took along time to be seated. No one was watching the front. I was set where I could see right into the kitchen. The people cooking on the line. No hair nets. The girl did not have her tied back. No hats. NO MASK!!!!The wait staff was playing around in the kitchen. Took along time to get my food. I got shrimp tacos. It's served cold. Black beans lukewarm, the rice was cold. The ladies room was a messy. Dirty had paper everywhere. Won't be back.
Very cool staff and the food was very delicious. I always enjoy my stay here.
