I pulled up to an empty restaurant with a cook and cashier wanted sign. I asked for a single patty cheeseburger that was 9 and some change, I assumed that was the combo price. I was then asked if I wanted the fries and drink and I said yes. He then pushed the combo button that said $5.95. So I’m total I paid $16.95 for an average burger and fries. It is not the same burger island that I remember. To add insult to injury I had to pay .50 cents for ranch.This was horribly expensive for such a small burger. I can honestly see why business is bad. Sadly I will not be returning here.
Almost $18 for a headband bacon cheeseburger and a small fry and small drink. The burger was dry and the fries weren't that great and we're a very small portion. The Burger Island on West Shiloh before you get to 78 have the the best people and the best burgers you can ask for, and the fries are absolutely amazing. They also have a mini Blue Bell Ice Cream selection.
The onion rings are more similar to some kind of onion doughnut there’s not an actual onion ring inside the breading the hamburgers are still really good
I know this is a burger place but I wanted a salad. I got a Chef Salad and it was so great! Very fresh and very large…..I ate half for dinner and the other half for lunch the next day. I love their burgers but this is my new ‘go to’ for a fresh and tasty salad. People are nice and friendly, too. That’s always a plus.
Hands down the best burger joint in Garland ! Ive Been going here for years, great food and quick service. Nice clean place.
The fries are great! and for being next to a college even though its kind of hard to find this place has great fries, food, the service was a little lackluster but it was ok for what it was. the food was the important part to me and it was good

First, the Place Smells like Sewage! And the Counter people were not very friendly and actually acted as IF they did not care if we ate there or Not! Have had the Burgers there in the Past and they have been decent.
$21.10 down the drain for 2 burgers and fries! Cold dry bun. Tasteless meat patty. Lettuce, tomato, pickel and onion ok. But the mustard! I asked for not too much of that as my husband can't eat too much of that and that's all you could smell on the burger. Fries were fries but no taste, not even a flavorful salt. One bite and it was spit out and the rest went in the trash for my husband's lunch. My burger was the same except I had mayo and it was also dry and not tasteful. We waited almost 30 mins. and the couple that got there before us weren't too happy with their wait time either. It wasn't busy in there with people at the time.
My turkey burger with fried egg was delicious and the fries were good as always I am never disappointed when I decide to have a cheat day and enjoy a turkey burger
