Well, I won't be going back to this restaurant again! My family and friends used to frequent this place often and loved the home style food, and it used to be open 24 hours a day for service, then it got a new owner, who is a foreigner and doesn't understand how restaurants work in the U. S.! My son and his girlfriend and I went last night (4/19/2022) planning on having the spaghetti special and we arrived slightly before 8:30 pm and the owner informed us that we were late because the kitchen closes at 8:30 pm. though the sign on the window and info on Google clearly say hours of business are 6 am to 9 pm. At most restaurants that means if you walk in at 8:55 pm., you will be served! We started to leave, but the owner said that we would be served anyway, but he wasn't happy about it! We ordered our food, but I could tell my son's girlfriend was upset about the owner's attitude ( she and my son both work in a high end restaurant as servers). Her salad was brought out and while we were waiting, another couple of people came in just after 8:30 pm. and were told by the owner that they were closed, though Google and the sign on the door clearly stated closing time was 9 pm.! I took exception, as did my son's girlfriend girlfriend ! An argument with the owner ensued about his hours of operation, or lack of! We left without our meal( though I paid for the salad and drinks, and also a tip for the waitress). But after 40+ years of eating at this establishment, we won't be returning due to the present owner's attitude and policies! It's not worth it! Very sad;
Where do I start…this place was a disappointment. After googling where to go for a great chicken fried steak - this place came up. The restaurant itself is very run down. Seating is cramped and for the locals “who have their favorite spots” I felt like an intruder seating at the table we selected. Their only drinks that offer refills for free is tea, coffee, and water! The tea tasted old. The waitress we had - would interrupt you while you are ordering to tell you what they “don’t have”. How can you serve mozzarella sticks without marinara sauce? And how can you NOT have any marinara sauce at 4pm on your “all you can eat spaghetti” night? The chicken fried steak was “meh” I think the chicken fried steak at Grandy’s would be better. Lastly, while we were waiting for our food, our waitress had to have a “loud” conversation about an ex employee that worked there having a problem with her. She had this conversation on the guest floor with the manager. The conversation carried on for 10 minutes. This is not a professional staff nor do they try and provide a pleasant dining experience. Go somewhere else! Stay away!!!
This place has some great food but the minute you complain, they get but hurt.The main man(maybe owner) has very poor people skills.We ordered a t-bone steak(well done).Received what at first looked good until we reacjed the middle.It was red! Tried to eat through it but just couldn't get it done anymore.I was getting sick. Mentioned it to the owner and he said well you ate ll of it? And asked me not to come back.We've had issues before buy like I said, they do have good good.Some of the personel have issues
I love this place, their food is great and their prices are such a deal for the incredible quality that is their food. The owner is so sweet and the staff are funny and kind and I appreciate the atmosphere.
This is like stopping in to see your grandmother..... and she cooks for you. Friendly faces every time you come in !!!Good food !!!! Great prices !!!!AWESOME "All You can Eat" specials !!!! ? Many Homemade classics !!!!My only issue is Please update your Website with your CORRECT DAILY SPECIALS & PRICES. ? I'm really sad to come for dinner, hoping to get one special, and then to find out that they don't serve that special on that day or at all .
Food was real good, service was fast, and the prices were very reasonable! Only thing was the mens bathroom was very filthy my husband told me.
This is one of my very favorite places. Good food, sweet people.

Try the Uncle Albert breakfast, but bring a couple of people with you! Seriously enough breakfast for 3 people on 1 plate! Enjoy
The service was exceptional. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. Great taste and will definitely be back because of service.
