Food was amazing and our sever was the best! Unfortunately towards the end of our dining experience the manager placed a creepy mannequin at the end of the table adjacent to us and facing us, including my son who has Autism who was increasingly uncomfortable to the point of having to leave. The manager on duty is the employee who placed it at the table. I don't care how good your service is that was out of line.Edit, the MOD provided some sort of discount, which we did not ask for or want, we left it as a tip for our excellent server.We will not be returing.
Our First time coming here after hearing all the reviews. The food is ok if you into Chicken, Mash Potatoes, gravy, corn and green beans. The salad was soggy, didn't really like the dressing they use. We expected so much more. Service is really good ++ Biscuits and honey are awesome ++I will recommend to order 1 meat only otherwise your bill will be a bit high.Price per meat is &17.99. So we ordered " 2 meats, smoke chicken and fried steak and 2 sodas, out tab was over $50.SO if you choose 1 meat $17.99 and 2 drinks I'm sure your tab should be around $25+. One good thing they have, they will bring you as much side items you can eat.
Absolutely outstanding service! I had a party of 25 for my daughters birthday! The food was amazing, the service was exquisite, and the overall visit was just great! The manager Daniel went above and beyond for the birthday dinner to ensure we had the correct amount of seating and an exemplary waitress! I couldn't have been happier! We will definitely be coming back here more often!
This place had been recommended for the chicken fried steak, so I went for a late lunch/dinner this afternoon. It was just okay. I wasn’t impressed by the taste of the chicken fried steak coating and the gravy was just okay. Mashed potatoes were decent and creamed corn wasn’t too bad. The biscuits were my favorite part. The $22 and change check for one person was very high, especially for the taste/quality of the food. One and done for this place.
Very good down home cooking. Guys I must say, the fish was seasoned perfectly and omg, that smoked chicken is to die for, that is now my favorite item, you can really taste the smokiness.
This is a go-to place to get a family sized meal when you have family over. We usually have 15-20 when we get Babes. It is a favorite of everyone, especially the banana pudding. Our entry mix is fried chicken, chicken strips and chicken fried steak. They box everything up for easy transport. We will be letting Babes feed our family for years ro come.
Kinda a let down. I used to love this place thinking the fried chicken is amazing. But after trying other places this one is just alright.I think most people who think it's great are used to eating KFC and Church's.My issues with the chicken are that there's no seasoning. It's just regular fried chicken. Secondly, the batter is too thick. Third, it could be juicier.
Fried chicken is always on point, so are the yummy sides! I wish they could get their seating game together, hard watching other small and large parties down the last get seated before you when you've waited 45 minutes. With a fast a they serve food, you'd think getting people sat wouldn't be that big an issue.

Food was delicious as usual, but the service was lousy. We waited about 5 minutes after being sat for our server, an African American girl who never told us her name, to get our drink order. We received our drinks and the biscuits and gave her our order. We didn't see her for another 15-20 minutes when our food came out. In that time, we had finished our drinks and biscuits and desperately needed refills. We tried to flag down two servers who seemed more interested in hanging out and giggling than helping guest in their establishment. Once we received our food we had to remind our server twice that we needed drink refills. After another 5 minutes we finally got our refills and more biscuits. The server never came back to check on us for the "2 minute check back". She only appeared when it was time to drop the check. Never asked if we wanted dessert or more refills. Nothing!!!We did ask her if she was busy, she stated that "no she wasn't" and we asked if they were short of staff" and she said "no". Had she said yes to either or both of those questions, we would have given her the benefit of the doubt, but she didn't, so basically she just confirmed she sucked as a server.We'll be back to eat again, but management needs to train staff to be more attentive, especially if they arent busy or short staffed.
