The food was decent. We are glad we set outside. The inside smells like they have a backed up sewer line.

Food was good except the spinach and crab ahells were dry and tasteless My husband shared a steak and found rude they gave it to me and extra plate to do our own share. Upscale restaurants will do in the kitchen and bring out. Waiter was well... not great.
We had a perfect dinner and evening by the bay. Our waiter made some excellent food suggestions, we ordered accordingly and were extremely happy with them. Highly recommend Willie Gâs if you are in Galveston.

Willie G's was recommended by several UBER drivers, but we found the prices were high compared to the quality of service and food. I ordered a glass of Merlot and my wife drank sweat tea. I would have had a 2nd glass of wine, but the server did not revisit the table. My wife's tea ran out and we had to ask another server to bring a refill. Our salads came before the appetizer and the Calamari was "chewy". Our salads were excellent, but then the entree's showed up before we finished our salads. We felt "rushed". I ordered the Redfish Louisianne, loaded mashed potatoes and parmesan risotto, my wife had the fried shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. The Parmesan Risotto was uninteresting and the roasted vegetables were under cooked. Loaded mashed potatoes were a hit. Entries were good, but the entire experience was not worth the $130 plus tip.
We received excellent service and the food was great! We ordered Caesar salad and Chicken & Sausage gumbo to start. Yum-oh! The steak, chargrilled chicken and Shrimp, trout & crab meat were wonderful. We enjoyed Keylime pie and Creme Brulee for dessert. We booked our reservation through OpenTable for 5 at 7:45 and were seated right on time. Our server was outstanding!
