50th birthday. I love Watermanâs for the atmosphere. But the service was mediocre (empty water glasses for long periods, dirty app plates sitting there for the whole meal, zero pouring of wineâ¦.). The band underneath in the bar was LOUD and rattling the floorsâ¦. Food was decent. Good, but not quite what you expect for the price. Still had a great time but could be better!!!! Iâll be back since honestly you canât beat the view and the indoor dining. Just canât give it 5 stars all around. Solid 4-5 though.

Comfortable seating with a very active kitchen environment. Service was prompt but some waitresses were taxed with overly large parties.

A wonderful meal shared by family to a stunning sunsetâdoesnât get much better. The chairs are very comfortable and the food was great. The Treasure chest (pasta with lemon butter caper sauce and topped with scallops and shrimp was a favorite among two guests), the delicious crab cake was crispy on the exterior with large portions of crab on the interiorâit is large enough for a meal. Grilled Shrimp dinner was tasty and not over cooked, while the fish (catfish) & chips had a nice lighter batter. Of note, the bread service isnât free ($6 for 4 meh rolls) and a few nit picky things turned our group off (like no check splitting, $4 split plate fees and no milk/juice included with the kids meal). The Caesar salad was just okayâIâd try something else. Our waitress was friendly. We would definitely return when staying on this end of the island again.
We enjoy going to Waterman's. It's nice to be on the quieter bay-side of the island. There is plenty of seating at the restaurant, both inside and outside. Most of our food was very good. I ordered the appetizer crab cake as my entree, and when it arrived with the other entrees, it was cold. Perhaps it was prepared with our appetizers and sat, waiting to be served as an entree, but nevertheless, it was disappointing, and not at all satisfying. Our server, Camillo, was wonderful, and it seemed he truly cared about us and our dining experience. The desserts did not disappoint.
Excellent food they put a great deal of effort into. We will be back here!
Nice place. Seafood platter was fried fish, fried shrimp and fried scallops. Some variation besides fried may be appreciated. Fish and chips proportions were large. Not a fan of the "chips". I would like to have had a more traditional plate. We will be back to sample other dishes.
Wonderful locale and food offerings. Was looking for a place on the west end of the island and will definitely dine here again. Service was superb and the place was popular but friendly.
