Not very good at all. I ordered General Tso’s Chicken and I don’t think that’s what I received (it smells and tastes like teriyaki), the sauce is gritty and the rice is strange. We also ordered cheese puffs because they don’t have crab Rangoon and they taste freezer burnt and you can barely chew through them. Also, their sweet and sour sauce is kind of weird. My husband liked the sweet and sour chicken, but also thought the sauce was strange. Lastly, it cost almost $40 for take-out for 2 people!
My husband and I have been going here for years anytime we are in Galveston and go to Galveston sometimes just to eat here. Unfortunately the food has changed. I got the combination fried rice which has always been so good but was just ok. My grandson got broccoli beef which tasted like Salisbury steak because of it being in a gravy !! As in straight up American brown gravy !!! Part of his fried rice was white and the portions were overall smaller as well. Hopefully they go back to how they use to cook because we have always really enjoyed going here.
Before the pandemic I used to frequent this place weekly because of the awesome Long Island iced tea's and the jalapeño pork. I went last week and was very disappointed. Waitstaff was great but my food and drinks were not good at all. I didn't finish my meal and I sent the drinks back. Maybe they were just having a bad day ?. I will revisit & post a new review.
This restaurant used to be “okay”, but now it’s not. Today I ordered my favorite Moo Goo Gai Pan. They stopped adding mushrooms and water chestnuts and the price increased. I called the restaurant and pretty sure the owner answered but couldn’t give a good answer so someone else spoke to me when I asked why they made these changes. She couldn’t answer either. Stated “That would be the kitchen’s decision.” Wow. Don’t eat there. It was flavorless and a big disappointment. Removing ingredients and charging more is not acceptable. They need to remember Moo Goo Gai Pan has MUSHROOMS!!!!
Most terrible Chinese food we’ve ever eaten. Waste of money. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! In my 65 years, I have never had such horrible food. Tastes nothing like Chinese food.Had to throw it away.
Unhappy Budda. Really greasy food. Things that weren't greasy were covered in a gravy. All four of us ended up tossing our meals once we got them home. Won't return. Can't recommend.
Really bad customer service. No one greets you, you wait over 15 minutes for your server, and the entire time no one checks on you. The food wasn't that great either. No one liked their food or service. I'm extremely disappointed.
Take out was a comically small portion, a hot mushy mess. Don’t get the Lo Mein, you will be disappointed. Easily the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I’ve had Chinese food in strange places. Not worth the $12 at all.
Okay so I really hate to give negative reviews but...ummm...My husband Spent $100 here and guess what?I'm extremely disappointed ☹️.The food was disgusting.Mongolian beef sucked! Tasted more like pepper steak. The rice noodles were soggy and it had a TON of veggies half way cooked, some soggy and no flavor what so ever. The beef fried rice was okay but nothing to write home about. And the sweet and sour chicken I don't even remember how that plate went.In fact, I probably could have did better cooking this entire meal at home blind folded...?
Been along time since I’ve been there but I’m glad I went today. It was Delicious and the waiter was very attentive!! Margaritas were excellent.
