March 2022 visit. Absolutely best stop in my 3500 mile trip. Staff was amazing. Mandie was the best bartender ever! People friendly. Atmosphere and view can't be beat. Can't wait to visit again!
This is a locals type of place. So if you aren’t comfortable with that vibe, I would avoid. With that said, it was definitely what we were looking for. A small little place you could sit outside and enjoy the ocean view, people watch those walking by and have a cold one. They do allow well behaved dogs and smoking. We sat downstairs in the shade with the breeze because it was too hot for the deck. Bartender was sweet and attentive. She helped me find somewhere to park because I did not want to get towed.
The people who run this place and own this place are amazing! We had an accident right outside there establishment and not only did they store our vehicle and let us leave it there as long as needed they rushed my friend to the hospital and offered any assistance we may have needed. Great place
Great local spot for cocktails and beer feel free to go barefoot they encourage it lol great view of the pleasure pier especially at night come have a beer with me feel the sea breeze and high five a pelican on the patio

The poop deck was very nice with a wonderful breeze. A coke and people watching by the ocean as I love the ocean and can be absorbed in complete peacefulness. There bathroom very clean. The staff very nice with a smile on their face. I really enjoyed the poop deck.
Loved this place. It is old and has kept it's charm. It does not serve food - it is strictly an adult bar with 2 tv's downstairs (sports) and a bar that is open to the beach where you can watch the antics of beachgoers. Would recommend. Parking limited but can in front and bikers
This was a fun bar with a great view and a wonderful bar tender. Every time we come back to Galveston we will visit.
Voted best dive! Basic beers and cocktails with an awesome view. Locals and laid back. Come here and enjoy the views on the upper deck!
