Great place with fantastic food and service! We stopped in for a late lunch after visiting Moody Gardens and were blown away by the service and the food. Staff was very happy to check on ingredients for food sensitivity, and made some great recommendations. The smoked turkey salad can't be oversold - it was amazing. The sandwiches, beans and frozen drinks were all great. Everyone had a great meal and we'd definitely recommend this place to our friends.
Pretty solid BBQ. Nothing bad, nothing great, just typical BBQ from a small chain restaurant. I will say their brisket tacos are pretty mouth-watering delicious and I am, for some reason, obsessed with their thick-cut steak fries, but they only have them about half the time. Good food overall and probably the only (good) option for BBQ on Galveston island, but if you're elsewhere, there are probably better options.
Stopped in at this joint on a whim and were delighted at the value and quality of food. Clean friendly and delicious. Would recommend for family dining. My husband and I shared the four meat plate and it was tons of goodness ?
My wife and I split the 4 meat sampler and to put it simply, everything was good. Nothing to write home about but all of it was very well done. The brisket and turkey were very moist and the sausage had really good flavor. The sides weren't very good however.
Staff is friendly and the resturant is clean. The food on the other hand, not what i was expecting... Came down to Galveston for the weekend and decided to drop by here to have dinner, after seeing all the good reviews. Ordered the chopped brisket w/ a mac & cheese and my sister, who i was with, order the pulled brisket. Meat was VERY bland, neither of us finished our sandwiches. Mac was also lackluster. Okra was good though. No complaints about staff or environment, just dissatisfied with the food. Maybe we got unlucly with it the night we came by but who knows. 2.5/5
We ordered takeout. I had the brisket salad with ranch dressing and that was very good. Everyone was really happy with their food and we got our order quickly.
Great food. Portions are huge! Way to get to and park. Right across from sea wall so view was great. Staff were very friendly
World’s smallest Bbq 2 plate dinner I’ve ever had. $19.00 for 2inch x 4 inches sliced beef. 8 pieces and second meat was a chicken leg with part of a thigh. Was just ok. Won’t be back. Waitress was very friendly however
Service was outstanding! Their prices were high, however I cannot hold that against them due to post pandemic prices are going up everywhere for everything. What I didn’t like was the food, it was very sub par. It wasn’t nasty where we wouldn’t eat it, but definitely not something I would seek out again. Brisket was dry, macaroni was bland. The only thing that was decent was the fried okra.
We were on vacation and wanted to try some texas bbq. It was really food. Little sweeter then we thought for the sauce, but overall good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Mac n cheese. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed our time
