Best TexMex in the city! The food was delicious, the margaritas were soooo good, and the service was fabulous. We were able to get a table for 3 with about a 10 minute wait. It was hard not to keep coming back during the rest of our stay. Parking on the strand always sucks. We caved and pd $20 across the street. No validation by the restaurant.

This place was rated very highly on Google so that's why I tried it. I had the beef fajitas and queso and some beer. The salsa was warm and that's one of the only things I didn't like. Tasted fine but I like salsa cold with warm chips. I gave it a four but perhaps a high three would be more accurate. Fajitas were tender and served medium as I requested. But they did lack flavor. Queso was alright also. $34.00 per order for beef fajita for one person. Portion was fairly large, two people could eat if not starving. Guacamole was fresh, tortillas were not. Beer was pretty cold.

Fantastic meal. Best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten I think!! From the fresh tortillas and warm salsa to start, to the stunning fish tacos. Shame we were in a bit of a rush with tired kids as would have loved to stay for dessert!

Excellent food. We popped in for lunch while walking the historic district and made the right choice.Fresh ingredients, friendly staff and fair pricing.Paul from Chicago was our waiter and did an excellent job. He is probably one of the most personable and tentative employees I've seen in the food industry in years.I would recommend this place in a second over any other in the area for Tex Mex. We tried another place the next day down near the beach and it couldn't come close.

I am 62 years old, and I have been eating Mexican food all of my life. This was the absolute best Mexican food I and my daughter have ever eaten!

We've been coming to Galveston for decades and just obtained a second home here. We've been trying new places and tried this due to tripadvisor reviews. I question the validity of their reviews. We visited on a weekday late afternoon. Beef fajitas for one were $33. Happy hour jumbo ritas were $15. Went to old faves and ordered the same items since, and they were almost half these prices. We noticed the manager appeared to have his hands in every employees actions. We like to spent plenty of time as we walk home and aren't driving after the Ritas. Our waitress couldn't leave until we did even though her shift ended, and we had paid our tab! In addition to the high price, it made us feel badly for the staff.

My family and I went there for lunch. We El Jefe and I had the grilled shrimp tacos with shredded cabbage and pineapple cubes, out of this world!!! We also took advantage of the happy hour drink specials! The food and drinks were excellent, I highly recommend this restaurant! Nina our waitress was friendly, attentive and fast! Thank you Nina!

The guacamole was fresh and the most bland I have ever had. I had the ceviche combo. It may have got the islands awards for best ceviche last year, but I have much better in Florida and Peru. It was mostly tomatoes and avocado. their was a lot of tuna in one of them. My kids liked their nachos and chicken tinga enchiladas.

The service was friendly and quick. Drinks never ran low, they had the BEST margaritas! We shared the 1-2 person chicken and beef fajitas and it was flavorful and delicious. Perfect amount of food for the two of us.

had some awesome day snacks here. the chicken in bacon and that sauce!!! holy chipotle. new to town and cant wait for another watermelon margarita.
