If I could give no stars I would. I ordered from Taco Cabana (it was recommended as we are on vacation here in Galveston) and they forgot my 4 sauces and the extra ones I paid for. I opened up my smoked chicken fajita quesadilla, pulled it apart to eat a slice and there was literally hair poking out of it ? Super disappointed, and still hungry ?
Haven't been to a Taco Cabana in a couple of years. The street tacos my wife likes and the brisket were no longer available as well as the self serve salsa bar. The prices went up quite a bit since we last were there so we cancelled our order and went to a real Tex-Mex restaurant and spent just a few dollars more and more food and better food for our money. Very disappointing.
Food is not consistent here some times they barely put any meat in your cabana bowl, we like to order sopapillas and pick them up when we’re done eating but half the time they don’t listen and hand it to us with the food like we didn’t just get done asking them to wait, the employees are rude, one guy brings out his portable speaker and plays rap music at full volume over the music playing from the restaurant speakers, sometimes they tell you they can only give you 2 small salsas since they closed their salsa bar other times they will fill your tray with large salsas.
Food was not good as usual. Patio was filthy, water on floor in dining room. Homeless people outside the door. Some sleeping some begging. Been to this cabana many times , but never again. Also sign on door says margaritas here or to go 2$ .ordered one and was told we do not have the 2$ margaritas. They are 4$ now.

Taco Cabana is one of my favorite places to go eat! Especially this location. The service was amazing, and the food was great! The woman who was working there as a manager told me that the lobby was closed, but if I cleaned up after myself, I could eat there. She was great!
They got my order wrong and asked me why I wanted the stuff that I didn't want on it. Instead of just getting my order right in the first place like I like it. But if you must ask why I didn't want cheese on my bean taco, it's because I'm lactose intolerant. Now if I survive an allergic reaction, I'm suing.
The lady working the drive thru was having a hard time taking order. Sat in the drive thru line and when we got to the window she had an attitude and all of a sudden our order completely disappeared. Sorry people working there. Sat in the line 20 minutes for nothing ?
I had a beef fajita quesadilla and my husband had a ground beef burrito. Both of our meals tasted like the meat was bad. Threw almost all of it away. Will never go there again. My husband spent half the night in the bathroom so good luck.
Beyond pleased with my visit yesterday. Service was fast and friendly and food was great. Thank you Tara and Aupiffany for the amazing customer service. You ladies are awesome. Will definitely be back
